He was the final character designed for MK Deception, and for what it's worth, his design is great, as is his backstory. His rearrangement fatality was one of MKD's single greatest. I wouldn't be surprised if he was inspired by Morpheus of The Matrix - a rebel with a purpose, seen by the system as a severe threat. Also, the Gauntlets were one of the single most fun weapon stlyes to use in the game.
His problems were that his special moves weren't all that spectacular, and really, he deserved to be placed into Konquest more predominantly, to flesh out his character more. He needed more exposure.
Overall, 7/10. Very underrated.

Only recently have I discovered how great of a character Darrius is. I always thought of him as a character with a cool look, but nothing else. After Hotaru became my favorite MKD character, I decided to try Darrius, and instantly loved him. He has great moves, a great storyline, and awesome Fatalities (Especially the arm rip one, even though it's a Jax rip off). I love the way he yells when he does his specials.
Hopefully his ending actually happens, and he becomes the ruler of the Orderrealm. I could see the Order/Chaosrealm storyline becoming big within the next few games.
Let's hope he's back for MK8.

He sucks! He looks utterly stupid especially in his overly stereotyped alt outfit and afro! Sadly even that looks way better than his dreadful eyesore of a primary outfit!
He had crap moves. Lame Fatalities. Lame everything. Don't even get me started on his story. It is ok, but they needed a much better character design to support it!
I HATE Darrius and he is by far the worst character EVER in MK. Hell, worst character in gaming history and existence!
Darrius MUST die! PAINFULLY! The amount of space he and all his crap takes up could be used for much better things. Get rid of him. Hell, where's a retcon when you need one?
Oh, as for the rating... He gets a sweet FUCK ALL out of 10! I'm done here!

Of all the Bosses we have ever had in the Mortal Kombat Series.. Shao Kahn is simply the best of the best..
He has the Look, The Attidude, The moves..

Shao Kahn was an awsome boss in MK2 and 3. He is a cheap badass that really seems like only way to defeat him is by being cheap right back at him. Ask me what should a boss in a fighting game should be like? I'll say like Shao Kahn in the way that they aren't some one easy to beat without problem mainly cuz they are just really cheap. Anyways what a great boss he is in those games. Problem though.... to me atleast the Sub-Boss's of MK2 and 3 (Kintaro and Motaro) always seems harder to beat than Shao Kahn was for me. I think it should of been the other way around. As for Shao Kahn in MKD (Yeah I got GC version of MKD) he was a bit dissapointing to me. He isn't that bad, but wasn't really that good gameplay wise. Kool new original alt costume for him though and an alright story in MKD. Overall Shao Kahn is a great character.

He has brutal moves and the mere sight of his armor demands respect! Everyone talks about him like he's a tryrant, but he comes off to me as a wise and noble monarch, though his enemies pay the ultimate price... Reminds me of Dr. Doom...

He's always been my favorite boss. Everything about him is great. Though in MKD, he was pretty slow, and had bad combos. I still use him, but very little.
He still gets 10/10.

yeah i loved it when he sed that i sucked! im not sure if hes my favorite boss or not but hes definately the hardest! even in MKSM he was pretty damn hard! i think he should take back his rightful place as evil emperor of outworld and continue on to the next gen!
