Awesome Stuff Shao Kahn is an awesome Character and gets a very deserving 92.. Only beaten by Sub Zero. 2nd Place in the Top 10 knocking Jade out.. Good choice Crispydragon.

Like many new Deception Characters,,
There's a Potentially Good Character here but for now he seems to be lacking something.. He has some good moves but his overall look really doesnt do anything for me..

Without a doubt, one of MKD's greatest characters in terms of design - the insectoid armor was great. Apart from that, he had one really great Fatality...and I can't think of much else I like about him. Not enough special moves, mundane fighting styles, and little to no storyline of his own. You could sum it up in "Wants to preserve Order, so joins Onaga". The guy was devoid of personality.
Major points lost for that in my book. 3/10.

Good storyline, great personality, and probably one of the best character designs in the series.

Wants to preserve order regardless of the consequences, I find that interesting.

Pretty much a failure in every department - lacks an interesting story, the Orderrealm was just boring. I agree no personality, nothing makes him stand out. Personally disliked his design and I don't think he was all that fun to play as.

A man of order that ally's himself with evil? Very intriguing, there's potential in this storyline to exploit, such as Midway delving into the dilemma of doing evil deeds for the greater good of order. Also is one of the best designed characters to come outta MK:D

The best of the Order Realm people...which isn't really saying a lot. He has a really cool design, but he seems to be lacking something. I'm not really into his moves, considering there are only 2 moves and he doesn't really have a lot of combos either.

Hotaru is a nice character stoyline wise design wise and attitude wise his game play sucks so bad though his grade is drove down 2.5 points from wat he would have gotten. I like the fact the guy is crazy about order kind of ironic he is choatic about order lol. 6.5/10 this guy does have potental to be a 9 character. but raiting for now is 6.5/10

Unlike other people, I actually think most of the MKD characters were a great addition to the series. Hotaru is the only one that just lacked in every way though. His character design.... not really impressive to me. Story is kinda interesting, but isn't that great. Gameplay wise he sucks pretty much. Just simply not fun to play with. Overall I don't see what others see in him and I think he is probably the worse MK character. Mokap and Stryker are way better!

6.5/10 he has a good character design and has that cool fatality with the mutiple neck snaps but I really dont like his story but he has potential

Decent story (way better thah darrius and dairou's) and decent special moves. But his look and his fighting styles were sweet!

i liked his fatalities, his grasshopper kick, and his alluring story, (the whole "im good, but ill do evil to be good" thing is great)...oh and i actually did like the flags

I like the fact that they have a character who is light but evil... Hotaru reminds me of Georges W Bush he claim to be on the good side but everyday he endorse evil policies to promote order lol
I like the fact that MK have a character like that
However he only had 2 moves but I think that he can be improve in the future.
My favorite new character in MKD along with Havik and Dairou

Nice character. I enjoy the Orderrealm storyline and wanted to see more of it... too bad MKA is the end of all the pretty much.
