I have to shot bullshit there simply cause that intro was full of shit! Lol! He was made to look weak and he is far from it!It as only done for sake of the story I guess.
Anyway, Shang gets a 10/10. He rules so much!

Shang Tsung IS Mortal Kombat. ...and gets only a tribute 10/10
Who would have thought that a stereotype could evolve in so many ways for the better? The best thing about Tsung that there are soo many different
Tsungs, but retaining one common thing: all are a slave to their beast of burden and ambition.
And who wouldn't love a sardonic, decadent spellcaster who has achie-ved and done the most in MK?

Whilst i have to give the first ever boss props, other bosses, in my opinion, like Shao Kahn and Onaga blow him out of the water.
Basing this on his DA ability, i think he was one of the good, but not great characters. His snake stance was effective, and it is also one of the reasons why i liked Havik.
All in all, a legend, but i prefer some others before him.
I have to give him a 7/10

NOOOOOO!!!!
lol well he was pretty good in MKDA but in MK1 he was the EASIEST boss EVER and in MK2 and 3 his triple and even double flaming skulls were too complicated to do without being attacked...
hm.....altho he was the first boss and a pretty interesting char.....
6.9/10 (never thought id give that to him)

Uhh, no. Shang could bombard you with skull storms, etc. + his morphs sometimes buffered up attacks. The easiest boss was Kintaro, who can be double flawlessed thanks to so many errors in his AI that it's ridiculous.
-in MK2. Trilogy wasn't better either.

The original Badass! Shang Tsung, Lui Kang, Sub-Zero, and Scorpion are all MK legends. They have never replaced Shang Tsung as the most original boss in the series. Shao Kahn, Shinnok, and Onaga are just more powerful but they don't do anything as cool as Shang Tsung.

I used to hate Shang Tsung but he's a badass and the first boss of Mortal Kombat at that. He's a good character and an original one at that. Ima give him a 9.

great character but he could have been better in MKDA, he also needed Quan Chi to finally get rid of Liu Kand so for that i will give him...

Tsk.Tsk.Tsk. Just because Shang Tsung is the original villan doesnt mean he deserves a 10 automatically guys. Mk1 he brought us fireballs and morphs that were difficult to counter in the event that your relative or friend beat the previous matches leaving you unable to match your past foes. In MK2 you played a younger badass Shang Tsung with 15 morphs (16 if you count the Kintaro fatality morph.) In MK3 Shang Tsung was a fireball summoning, morphless sorcerrer who had a questionable heterosexuality (he wore a thong over dark yellow spandex and black eye makeup.guys, if you saw a guy in public like that you'd kick his ass for being a meat cake.) Finally in MKDA Shang Tsung was still morphless but not a homosexual this time around. Shang Tsung was kind of pathetic considering he had to rely on another sorcerrer to rid of ol' turkey boy aswell as use Quan Chi's Oni (Drahmin and Moloch) incase of betrayal.
He has had his ups and downs MK1-2 are great MK3 and DA brought a questionable Shang Tsung. He gets a 7.8/10
