One of the worst characters! 2/10

I did not like Dairou in Deception, along with Kobra and Darrius, i dont think he was really needed. His story, whilst it has potential, doesnt intrigue me.
However, his weapon stance was quite effective.

EDIT: I actually meant Hotaru instead of Darrius. Darrius was an okay character, but i meant that i did not like Dairou, Kobra and Hotaru. Sorry about the confusion!

There's something wrong when a character's concept winds up being cooler than the character. He really should have used two swords. Still, interesting fatalities, and a mercenary's nice to have around.

2/10 his attacks are pretty boring

I velcome anything that is refreshing from the staleness I witness in every game, novel etc. And Dairou is no exception. Aside from his bit "not-instant-ly-cool-and-powerful" looks (I hate those, I hate them from heart) he got an actual plotline. Episodic nonetheless, but if everything is whacked up on the major plotline, the story would be a mess. MK needs more characters like Dairou.
His moves and fatalities are gruesome. I favor anyone with the special ability to bind and bend his musculator and bones.

I think Chrome said it best here. However I'm going to dock him a point and a half for being broken as hell in-game.

2 newbies from MKD made good impressions on me. Havik and Ashrah. The rest I felt either indifferent to like-ish (Kira) or I just plain hated (Dairou, Darrius, Hotaru)
I really really really dislike Dairou. His look would have been okay but his primary is too busy and clunky giving him no sense of structure or form whatsoever and his alt is too figure hugging for his appearence. His moves are boring and stale except for his projectile. Pretty cool that it comes out of his leg instead of his arms like most characters. His storyline is really crappy. Probably because I hate Seido and all it's inhabitants. Havik is the only new realm warrior I like. But the Seidan guards and resistence and stuff is really boring. It's hard for me to care when the realm was only introduced in MKD. Dairou: 1/10

meh, he has potential, i liked his coffin move, but his iron star leg move was really stupid! his switch move was good though. i suppose he was good 2 play with, but he just didnt seem that cool. il give him 5.5/10

One of the Worst fucking characters ever!!! Moves sucked so did his fatalities, and his costumes were too generic. His story blew along with Darrius!
Hotaru, Havik and Kira were badass characters!
Dairou, Darrius, and Kobra need to to be sent to the 5th plane of the Netherealm never to return!!!

Well alot of you find Dairou Boring.. There's Potential but his just not showing it yet.. He scores a very dissapointing 49... I think he should of crossed the 50's barrrier atleast but there ya go..
