I always held the belief that the original Reiko died and the Reiko in MK4 was Kahn disguised (he is a demigod, what's to say HE can't shapeshift). Kahn deceived Shinnok and when Shinnok was defeated he returned to his throne. As simple as that, it makes the most sense to me anyway. Since Reiko's bio mentions that he was thought to long be dead.

Oh God everyone know Reiko is Kahn and Sheeva is Goro and Kintaro at the same time, and that Mileena was Baraka (before sex change)and that Striker is one of Johnny's bodyguards, and that Sub Zero, Scorpion, Reptile, Ermac, Noob Saibot, Chameleon, Khameleon and Smoke is none other that....Kai....

Not to start anything new or crazy theory. But why couldn't reiko be Shoa kahn son? If he was then you have a whole new twist on the game...He could possible take the place of his father. That makes his ending as true and not all that crazy, he was just putting on his fathers helmet. Plus sindel is back and she was shoa kahn's wife, so that would put her as reiko's mother.

Well... nobody knows who reiko really is... maybe they'll straighen it up in Deception... since EVERY character is in Konquest.. maybe here they'll give the final aswers... i wish

I AM SHAO KAHN ALSO I AM NOT REIKO.

Not funny whatsoever. It makes sense to me because:

1- Shao Kahn is a demigod and him shapeshifting is not farfetched.
2- Shao Kahn was not dead in MK4 yet he was absent, this explains where he was at the time HIS REALM was in danger.
3- Reiko was presumed dead until he MYSTERIOUSLY came back, how convenient.

Put 2 and 2 together and you get a dead Reiko and an evil megalomaniac in disguise making sure no shitty elder god takes over what rightfully belongs to him aka THE UNIVERSE.

I don't care what Midway says but this makes the most sense of Reiko's ending and Shao's timeline.

I think MK4 was the suckiest MK game out of them all.

The character designs sucked.

I played MK3 and MK Trilogy instead of MK4.

But it doesn't make sense. They confirmed it already that reiko is not kahn, AND ed and them werent responsible for the GBA ending. Granted, shao kahn looks nothing like reiko, kahn looks more like baraka except for the teeth. Kahn is way bigger than reiko, and kahn has spikes on his head.

Read again. I didn't say that Reiko is Kahn. Reiko is dead, he died A LOOOOOOOONG TIME ago. Kahn SHAPESHIFTED into Reiko to deceive Shinnok.

Midway was right when they said that Kahn is not Reiko, he isn't but the Reiko in MK4 is not Reiko as well, that is Kahn in disguise.
