This is a good present for my 19th birthday (a perfect present would be to be able to see this image, although living in Spain it's impossible )

Did the article state that it was Li Mei or are you just assuming it is based on the color of the costume? Most likely it is just Mileena that is being mistaken for Li Mei, again. I pray to the little gods of technology that it is Mileena and not Li Mei. The slot for returning MKDA characters can be better used for someone else.

I'm taking your word on this that it said Li Mei is confirmed, cause if she isnt and your just assumimg shes in because of the looks, anyone could easily stick to the point of her being someone else. I trust you, so if it didnt say it in the article, than perhaps your sorces know who it is and if shes confirmed. I was hoping it would be either sindel or mileena, but meh, if shes confirmed, what can one do except complain.

i like li mei...i just got done playin with her in mkda...both her hand fighting styles are awesome, she has good combos, and the only thing i really dislike about her is her look, but face paint and a hat definetly sounds better. im looking forward to using the sais with mileena also, im expecting them to have more moves and combos though then in DA.

Sorry; I've spent most of the day reading very hostile, yet hilarious articles at this site http://maddox.xmission.com/ and some of that hostility has rubbed off on me. But seriously, I agree with LadyRaiden, there were MUCH better characters that should have returned rather than Li Mei.

The article was short and sweet, and said nothing about who the characters were in the image...

The pick of Sindel vs "Li Mei" is true but I'm still skeptical, here's why. Look closely at that pick, you will see two coat tails on Le Mei. Now if you look at her default outfit when she's fighting Sub-Zero on the first page of the article you see the same coat tails on Milenna. So that person fighting Sindel is Milenna in an alt. costume.Sorry.

I doubt it's Li Mei, there is already 2 female characters with purple clothes in the game and if Li Mei is in the game that would make 2 characters with sais, not really original and Ed Boon is known for the originality of his ideas.

I could be wrong, I have not seen the pic, but its just my 2 cents.

I just thought of something. The character's weapon pose is identical to that of Li Mie, so it might be her.

I too have the new opm and that's not Li Mei. It's Mileena.
