yeah alot of fighting games have chicks with their tits jiggling about, but Virtual fighter has seemed to a good idea with keeping their females(except vanessa...shudders...) pretty damn hot and not showing off their boobs in a swimsuit.
almost all their outfits are fully clothed maybe a belly button showing or sleeveless but no huge cleavage shots. i think they should cut down a lil on the whole boob thing, cuz chicks play games too. my old gf likes to play as Li Mei, but she doesn't know her by that name, she calls her BOOBS. the girl with the boobs that is who i want to be she says. and i just laugh cuz they all have big boobs.

It gets tasteless after a while. It's unnecessary. Considering these females are here to fight to the death, you'd think they'd wear something more protective.

Is it just me, or do most of the Girls in DoA wear decent looking outfits..and STILL have sex appeal? Take uh....Hitomi(I think thats her name) for example. She looks like shes wearing something from Kalvin Klines or something..and she still looks as fine as anything...and Christy(her alt.outfit is a suit) and tina wears a wrestling outfit..so whats wrong with that? and uh...no. MK doesnt have too much sex appeal.

I think that it is fine, and hey I'm a girl. Some of the outfits I wouldn't mind wearing actually, if Mortal Kombat never existed, as I would look like a poser. Some of the styles they have is actually good, and I like the whole look-like-a-stripper look. Its funny to me. I mean, its a video game. What video game nowadays dont have boobs jiggling around, except maybe for Nintendo games. Anyway, it is common to see these in games now, and I actually like the outfits. They're creative, to me at least.

I think it's frickin hilarious how people react to this kind of thing. I love how most of the people here were dissapointed in MKDA because there weren't enough creative ways to murder someone when you beat them, yet they get offended easily when the women are dressed too revealing.

Our society has things sooo bass ackwards. Graphic violence and gore are totally ok but if you show a nipple or too much cleavage you are the antichrist for sure.

Also I like how nobody has ever mentioned how the men are dressed. Lots of men in MK games have been topless with buldging muscles and tight asses. Yeah, sex is taking over the world and the virtual world. I'm kind of sick of seeing the hot chick type look now because not every girl is that way, that you have to look that way or you won't be accepted in this world and especially in hollywood now almost everyone is doing the "sex" thing and promoting it like it's all that, that you can't live a day without it sort of thing. So I'm tired of it. It's been done, in my opinion. Who is really gonna wear skimpy little outfits to fight for life and death. Sex is very stupid, although it sells. But it's gonna teach the young kids that sex is everything and that is wrong, like a 5 year old kid saying I wanna have sex with this person or that person, very sickening words to hear. Sex used to be tastefully done, now it's been blown way out of proportion. So for me, I say tone down the sex, but that's just my view on it.

I agree. I thought they were creative and decent, well elaborated. Actually, her primary costume is the one that was most elaborated from all females. They managed to make her look very sexy, yet decent. So far, only Sonya (and maybe Ahsrah) stays away from the huge circle of whores.

I don’t buy a game because of the “sexiness” it has (Females), to actually think that there are people who buy it for that reason is stupid and disgusting!

I think SOME OUTFITS are great, as long as they fit the character. Mileena’s new look for example, is almost naked1 YET she doesn’t look like a whore, for some reason it fits her. It shows as that beauty can trick us, or that the real beauty is that of inside.

Other females should get a change though! My Sindel is a Queen, and although her black alt looks awesome with the crown, she looks like a bitch with her normal outfit!

Kitana looks like a cheap whore! She was fine in MK2 but she should loose that outfit and get a decent change.

Same with Jade but she actually looks good, since she is still a msitery (nor a queen or princess) the costume fits her a bit.

Nitara looks amazing, and being a vampire is the reason why I think it fits her. Vampires are always related with “Sex” one way or another.

For me it depends on how the character plays and their story, although they shouldn't go overboard with it. Kitana, Jade, Tanya, Sonya, Nitara and Sindel are all good and look fine. Mileena's outfit actually suits her character. And Sheeva, yeah she wore a string, but so did Goro and Kintaro. Apparently Shokans are proud of their bodies and I say good for them.
Li Mei on the other hand.....needs a little work.

See I read comics a lot, which is probably why the so-called "bathing suit" attire doesn't bother me because lots of good female comic characters where or have worn "bathing suits."
I sometimes visit the DC Comics message board. There was a recent issue of Superman/Batman that had Supergirl wearing an outfit no different than Sonya's Deadly Alliance attire. T-Shirt, midriff, tight pants and thong showing. People on the DC boards were FURIOUS. Posts like "Why is Supergirl dressed like a cheap slut?!" "Why does she look like a whore?!" "No dignified woman would EVER dress like that!"

Most girls that are under 40 that I have met all wear bikinis or thongs. I have also noticed that the only women that complain about how other women dress are old and unattractive. It's very rare to see a young attractive woman complain about how slutty other girls are dressed. Why is that? Because they're not jealous?

Sex has never been much of an issue with MK..that's DOA's territory...Violence is all I want when it comes to a Mortal Kombat game..I don't really mind if they dress like skanks..just more reason to show ABSOLUTELY NO MERCY!! Well, actually I agree with Midway's choice of dressing for the female fighters. Not much clothing = easier movement. Try to look beyond the sexual intentions that is in everybody's head.
