Should The Dragon King have an actual name?

This is something that I've been curious about for quite a while. Does anyone else think it would sound kind of goofy to hear the announcer in the game say something like "The Dragon King Wins!?" Since Shao Kahn was also known as The Emperor of Outworld, I was wondering if anybody else thought he should have an actual name, instead of just The Dragon King?

Now that i think about it it does sound kind of gay and all but they better make it a cool name if they give him one.

yeah they will have to give him a decent name. Thats like saying shao kahn wins in this form "The emperor wins"

They should give him a bad ass name.

I'm not sure, i'm thinking the title 'Dragon King' may have multiple meanings, but they probably should have a name for him.

i never thought about that. I bet they will give him a cool name, i mean what mk name isnt really cool. Well theres a few but i dont think they will mess up with an end guy.

Yes, "The Dragon King" is cheesy sounding. Too cheesy even for MK. He should have name. Something Asian sounding would be cool.

Good Point. I'm sure they will give him something cool, I mean they said they were going back to the darker side of MK, I think they would realize The Dragon King wins would sound lame. Hell just keep Reptile.

I think it will be a Chinese name if anything. Or maybe Japanese or Korean. All three would suit The Dragon King.

He needs a name! 'The Dragon King' wins is really cheesy! Besides, thats his title, not his name. They wouldn't be that stupid to not give him a name.

anyway, how come everbody thinks that reptile is the dragon king? it has not yet been confirmed, has it? anyway, in the video, it could be false or it could also be that the dragon king is using reptile, not necesarily reptile himself...

Why should the dragon king have a name?, in the last match if he wins he'll say "I win!" and if he loses he wont say anything.

Yeah, i brought up this detail in another topic earlier. The Dragon King is a title that can more than likely be bestowed upon anyone. Perhaps the Dragon King will be reptile, maybe an ancient warrior who is resurrected or maybe one of the other characters we all know. What I know absolutely is Dragon King will not be the name within the life meter.

Dragon King is probably a title. It'll probably be like Reptile, the Dragon King, and they will only announce him as Reptile.

How about Victor, or Arthur?
Honestly, I hope if the come out with a name, they should find a chinese/Japanese one with the meaning of Dragon King.
