Should There Be "Replays" in MK: Deception?

Do you think there should be replays which show the last few seconds of the round? it really doesnt fit into MK but, they might be able to implement it nicely...
like the last kick you done to the guy is shown from 3 different angles very fastly right after another(do you get what i mean? confused)
or mabe in the middle of a fight, it shows it quickly and you keep fighting, like it shouldnt effect the flow of the fight but add more tension(did i spell it right?)
do you agree?

It dosent look right in MK it works fine with Virtua Fighter and Tekken.

well with finishing moves they could do something as well... take scorpions fatality in MKDA for instance, when he pulls the guys head off with the rope, it couldve shown the head coming off 3 times from different angles real fast... it would add another effect to it...
but in options there could be an option to turn it off if u dont like it :)

I don't think there should be replays, but I would like to record a demo of my fight with another player.

I could send the clip to a pal via online and show them my abilities as a fighter. I would also love to replay the clip of me whipping my friend's ass to him over and over again. smile

Thats a really good idea, even when im playing DA i wish i had the option to record a fight to watch over again. It just seems like a nice addition

But I dont think Replays should be involved in MK:D cuz 1st, it wouldnt fit into the MK atmosphere and like someone before said, MK would be copyin Tekken and those games....

There were replays during some Fatalities in MK4 if I remember correctly. It would show it from 3 different angles.

yeh i agree, it wouldnt fit into MK,
but it would be awesome to record the fights so that you can watch them over and over again and send them over to your buddies online ;)

Replays durring match, no, for obvious gameplay reasons. After the match and durring fats, well, it could be pulled off.

I see peeps saying that "it doesn't fit MK," whatever that means. Almost every 3D fighter has had replays, anyways. All in all, it's really not THAT big of a deal, but it's a nice feature that helps round out and finnish off the "completeness" of a game, so to speak.

Well, IF the MK team can do a nice job it will look really good, but if they cant, then it will spoil the whole thing

I think it'd be a cool OPTIONAL thing to have.. now that PS2's got a harddrive on the way and the X-box has one built in.. who's to say it can't be done? I like the idea, i think it should be put in, but don't do multi-angle replays on fatalities though, just first or 2nd round finishes, only.

yeh it can be done, the best thing to do with stuff like this is to make it optional :)

i think it would be nice for like a 2 second repeat.
For example, say scorpion spears spomeones head of a triple reapet of it that lasts about a second would look cool.

Well any decapitation like tat would be good.

yeh the replays might feel too repetitive so it might not be so cool as it sounds... coz usually in some games like tekken and soul calibur, after a while u get sick of watching the replays so u just skip them all the time.

Have people lost their minds? If you don't like replay, press start to skip it. Some people actually would like to recap how they lost or won the match. Especially close ones.

"oh damn if that jab had come out a frame faster" etc.

yeh i agree with you dude, the replays will add another dimension to the game, and for those who dont like it can always skip it right? just like you can in other games, its actually cool to rewatch the way you finished off your oponent...

and yes, we should be able to record our matches and watch them again afterwards.
