Maybe Johnny cage is just his hollywood name. Now he has quit the movie business and decides to willfully fight seriously in Mortal Kombat. So, he takes on his real name, Ben.

It really doesn't elaborate on that. they may be the same person. Maybe just a name change. Who knows. We could have 2 samurai in this one.

Well to tell you the truth I am not too happy about this game now. I know I'n going to get flamed for this, but it looks like Midway stopped trying to make Mortal Kombat and just tried to make everyone happy. Where's the Tekunin? The Red Dragon? Why is Smoke back? So many wated spots in this game, IMO.

Anyway it looks like Kira will be doing some deceiving in this game. I have a feeling she will be working double agent with the Red Dragon, though (which is how she's stayed alive.

My guess is the Dragon King/a sorceror raised Liu Kang's body with evil magic and either put a soul in their, or left it completely souless, so Liu Kang's spirit feels guilty that he is casuing so many deaths, he takes a form and fights for Earthrealm again. In the end he'll probably enter the body of the zombie cancelling out the evil (as well as the good).

The german artical said that there will be 10 death traps this artical only list's 9
I wonder what the 10 will be ?

With Liu Kang in the game, do you think he'll have Jeet Kune Do?

If so, I guess he could have some cool moves like smoking his opponents eyes and leaving them open to combos. Also smoky teleport moves, things like that.
