I was kinda hoping they would wait till MK7 and make Rain have an important role. I think it's kinda pointless to make him a super-unlockable.
Yes, it's true that I'm biased, but I would have said that same thing about many other characters who I do like. Really, what's the point of bringing back a hidden character if you're just going to give them the slot of an insignificant hidden character? Smoke is by far my favorite, but I wouldn't want him back in MKD if he wasn't one of the default 24 characters.

Who says that being a super-unlockable makes him insignificant? He could still have a very prominent role in the story, but be very well hidden. Look at Reptile in MK1 for example. Back then I don't think anyone thought he'd become as important to the story as he is now.

I think the Super Secrets will have storylines, they're own moves, ext. Atleast I hope thats true.

yeah, same here. unless they bust out totally new characters, im sure they will have some sort of storyline, hopefully an ending too.

Blaze was super unlockable in Deadly Alliance, and even though his story is still a bit unclear, seems to me as though he played an important role in the MK universe at some point or another. Thusly, it may be that the other Super Unlockables will in Deception, too. Man, Rain IS deception, he had better be in it.

about the character dieing...Its obvious its either raiden or scorp and I think that it will sadly be raiden (although scorp should stay too) because his story is up...he used his essence and now he isnt much at all...Im not sure where this is gonna go but If they do decide to put 1 chara to rest Ill live with it. we can always play them in other games . anyways wether we wont be playin with the power plant or the indoor heater Im sure it will work out. (its about time sum1 left 4 good...even though its kinda sad it has to happen)
also Im glad your friend says shujinko doesnt win, think about it, if he wins then what will happen? The only thing that could possibly happen is that the elder gods deceive him and everyone or shujinko himself turns evil. I mean after 1 evil ruler there has to be another. and so far they havnt givin us anythign else to go on. Im hoping that kenshi will have somethign to do with a betrayal (him as a boss or sub boss in mk7 would be great! with new and improved skills and telekinetics of course!) so I really hope that shujinko loses...hes an old man and has lived a happy life messing up everything

I talked to my friend and if his sources turn out to be true for the most part, he told me the other day he would inform me of stuff going on with MK7 once Midway starts getting into that but that won't be for awhile. So if all this juicy info I have IS true, then looks like I'll be informing you on MK7 too.

hey kenshimaster, i have a question for you to ask your friend. he seems to like giving vague answers so i was wondering if you could ask him specifically what super unlockables he has heard of at this point. all ive seen is maybe this person and maybe that person or a subtle hint at something. tell him the natives are getting restless and would appreciate some specific details. thanks. =)

He doesn't even know whom all of them all. If he does know he isn't telling me. He said for a while no one knew because everyone at Midway was so tightmouthed about it. But I shall ask.

I have a fairly easy question to answer, Could you ask your friend if Sub-Zero has more than 2 special moves. Also if he might know how many. I know everyone keeps saying that all characters will have 3-6 special moves or something like that but I was just concerned with him being my main character. Thank You.
