So according to Kano_Fan...Sub-Zero only has 2 special moves.

Freeze and Ice Clone.
This would make most Sub fans angry but when you think about it...Sub's ice clone is quick as hell and has no recovery issues.
I believe it's to keep him balanced and from being a really cheezy character.

I would be very upset, Sub-Zero is my favorite character in Mortal Kombat. Only two moves? That would be stupid, Sub-Zero had only two moves in the original Mortal Kombat. 12 years later after learning so many new moves he would go back to only two? It would be really pointless and as a Sub-Zero fan I would feel cheated because the other characters have more than two special moves.

True.
They give Sub-Zero only 2 moves? And Scorpion not 1, not 2, not 3 but 4 very effective moves. Spear, Hellfire, Teleport and the Flaming backflip kick.
At Least give Sub the Cold Shoulder move. I loved that.

I think his ground freeze should return. It is just as good as bo's puke fest even better
its better because its not puke. Don't get me wrong though I like them both. the ground freeze was just so classic way back when

Sub-Zero is my favorite character. I'd be pissed if they only gave him to special moves. I at least want him to have; Freeze, Cold Shoulder, Ground Freeze, the other freeze from MKDA, and maybe a new move. Then I'd be happy. But I'm sure he'll have more than two.

Well maybe it is too soon for us to say he only has two moves. Boon said every character will have 4 or 5 moves. I am thinking he got his ground freeze and slide back. Here is to hopeing. DSB

Well with Frost out of the picture, there is no reason for Sub-Zero not to have his slide and ground freeze back again. There is a very good chance that because the version that Kano_Fan played wasn't the complete one, that Sub-Zero will have more than just two special moves.

The moves I think should be back in are.
Freeze
Ice Clone
Cold Sholder
Ground Freeze
Ice Shaker
Upward freeze. From mkt shoots an ice shot into the air comes down on the opp.

The version Kano_Fan played was 80% done and he looked at his move list and only saw 2 moves.
You honestly think they were waiting until that last 20% of the game to add more moves?

Maybe midway did have more moves for subby but they were glitchy and didn't make it to the demo Kano_Fan had played. Boon himself said each character will have at least 4 special moves

I have to agree with the fact that Sub Zero may just be too strong with so many moves..
Mortal Kombat always seems to have a problem balancing its characters. (Think about it before you click reply..) ..Every game has a powerhouse character, be it Sub Zero, Scorpion or Kabal.. (They've all been top game at some point.)
There's a very good chance that he may have all of his moves in the final version. Then again, maybe not. We've got less than a month until release.. Let's just wait and see?

You being serious or not doesn't make your statement any less false or laughable because thats exactly what it is.
If you honestly think Sub will get 4 more special moves within the next 20% of the game, then I feel sorry for you.

Sub-Zero is not going to end up with only 2 special moves, especially when Boon has been promoting anywhere from 4 to 6 per character. There is always the possibility that some special moves weren't added for that 80% demo, that some were specifically left out of various demos, and that they did wait until the last 20% to add those in. It's all about speculation right now. Every other character has been showing off more than 2 special moves. Sub-Zero is a main attraction for any Mortal Kombat game. There is no reason or proof that he will be stuck with only 2 in the end for the final build.

boon says a lot of things and they are often not correct. if hotaru, sub and baraka each have 2 moves that severely reduces the number of combo options. why should kobra have oodles of special moves and others just 2.
