I dont know if sub-zeros only 2 moves is confermed cuz i havent looked it up but if he really only has 2 moves it shouldn't bother sub-zero-fans at all becouse its balanced out...in mkd you can iceclone and freeze at almost the same time...before u couldnt do that...and besides if you really are a sub-zero-fan, you'll still love him nomatter what moves he has cuz hes S U B - Z E R O baby!!!

2 special moves? AGAIN? man this is like MK:DA all over again.
zero needs to have his slide attack, his floor-freezing move, maybe even shoot ice towards the sky again..........
just 2 moves? man this sucks. the clone isn't looking great either, but at least it;s fast

I really hope that you are all right and they do add more moves.bUT Lets look at the characters that had less moves.
Sub Zero - I've already told you his moves
Baraka - Blade spark - same as MKII
Mutant Blades - his blades come out and he slides across the floor in a simalar way to Jax's Piston Punch - Barakas asrm stay rigid instead of moving back and forth
Kabal - Spin Dash - same as MK3
Projectile - same as MK3
"Magnetic Pull" - both players are pulled together, crashing into eachother. When they get back up,they have switched sides of the screen
Mileena - Ground Roll - same as before
Teleport kick - same as before
Sai Toss - same as before.
Now,those for charcters range from powerful(Baraka,Kabal) to quite fast (Mileena).Sub Zero falls in the middle and is both strong and agile.
I believe that these characters have less moves to actually make them more balanced.
Dairou,IIRC, only has 3 moves and Ashra has 4 - so its not limited to the returning characters.

This is one of the things that really pissed me off about MK....the complete lack of moves!
Every character should have 5+ moves, I men, damn it cant be that hard to think of 5 moves per character...
And as far as Sub-Zero...why in the hell does all his moves have the same effect? Freezing? I would think that a ninja assassin could do more than make snow cones....

no offence to Kano_Fan but come on, the game isnt even complete yet. do you really think Boon would play all his cards at one gaming show. I dont believe Noob Smoke is the sub-boss, and i dont believe that baraka and sub-zero will only have the moves listed in this beta.
remember a while back they showed Hotaru's movelist, and he only had 2. well i saw a third special move of his in an updated movie recently. so it goes to show they are adding all the time. Boon isnt stupid. im sure the endings and bios are accurate, but i dont think they will go to all this trouble and preach about content and have then only 2 moves for characters like sub-zero. and why would they hinder him especially considering his rival scorpion has 4 that we know of. i think Boon is still hiding a lot of the kick ass stuff that we have yet to see. just my thoughts.

I totally agree with Kano_Fan.. That was pretty much the point of my post earlier..
Sub Zero, with his ability to freeze, would be given far too much power with so many moves. Yes, it may seem unfair to those who use him. No, it will not limit his style or playability.. He may just have more combo options, he may be more well rounded, etc.. We don't need more powerhouse characters.
I like that they try and balance them out.. It helps.
Then again, we may see him have the new moves implemented, but I doubt it.

While it is totally possible they did only give him 2 moves to balance him, the argument that moves probbly won't be added with 80% of the game done is unquailified. A game that is as large as MKD is 20% is a HUGE amount. It is possible that Boon did not want to showcase all the moves as to leave a few surprises for when we pick up the game. Second perhaps they are waiting very late in the game to add the extra specials or there is always the option like someone els already stated.. they may have been added but somewhat glitchy and are undergoing reimplimentation.
While I completly agree with the possability of the moves being left out due to sub-zero being too powerful, I think the argument of only 20% left is weak.
If sub only has two, so be it I guess, but in MKII you could work some awesome combos with that ground freeze....I've really missed that move for sub. I think he should have Grond Freeze, Ice Blast, Slide, and Ice Clone.

Sadly, you have as much proof as we do.
The game is days from being finished. With less than a month to go, odds are at this point in time they are getting ready for mass copying. The way it ends up is the way it is. I won't be mad if Sub-Zero only has 2 moves, because everything in this game is great. But because all we can do right now is speculate, there is no proof that confirms or denies Sub-Zero having more than 2 moves. All we can use is what has been told to us from people that have played the game, and use that in comparison with all other characters revealed thus far.

its better because its not puke. Don't get me wrong though I like them both. the ground freeze was just so classic way back when

Ice Shower.
His best move IMO.
I loved it in Mk3. So original, but difficult in 3D.

I find that it is a little bit stupid, these special movess which appear and disappear in the course of the games for characters who are nevertheless always present (like Subzero...)

A character with more special moves is not necessarily a better character as it is a character with simply more options during a fight. Currently, most characters have more special moves than Sub-Zero which simply gives them more combat options. But do we honestly need a myriad of moves for each character if we're not even going to use all of them? IMHO, special moves are only OK if they're useful. Sub-Zero has one useful special move (the clone) and one trademark move (his freeze) and I'd personally like it to stay this way instead of them adding another 3 special moves that no one is ever going to use.

He should have a knock back move like the cold shoulder or his slide. They won't leave him with two moves with the same effect.
