Ok I think she actually won against the main cast because it's possible that she just thought it was a tournament and she had no idea that they were fighting to stop the deadly alliance. So maybe she beat them thinking it was all part of the tournament. I think she actually won sorry.

Li mei may have had some interaction with the others but it might not be possible seeing as how they all(or most of them) assaulted the palace and i doubt she would have seen it as some kind of tournament let alone have her able to defeat raiden who seemed to be the last one standing and did manage to to a go job(although was defeated) in fighting the deadly alliance. Geez, its stupid when people come her and flaunt something with like infinity exclamation points saying they know what happened and they were right as if he was the only person who thought it. You should change your topic a little.
As for the person saying that it is possible for any character to defeat any other character is wrong. There are tiers when it comes to the characters fighting ability. Liu kang would probably be along the top tier and wouldn't be able to be defeated by the lowerst tier. So it is highly unlikely that stryker would be able to defeat him. I know it is just a game and just because people say that li mei couldn't be sub zero doesn't mean that they think that sub zero is a real person living in the arctic training warriors. Every game is just a game but people get into the game and really like it for what it is. If MK were just an ordianry game it wouldn't have such an intricate story. There is the simple fact that some fighters just wouldn't be able to defeat others.
And as for everyone saying quan chi is the ultimate bad ass. Get a clue. Your all just saying that because he and shang managed to defeat raiden and then saw him beat shang. He on the other hand was beaten by The older sub in MKM and apparantly the DK. So for right now the DK is the ultimate bad ass.

Personally, I don't think that it had a true and a fake tournament there... To my opinion, there was only a single tournament, gained by Li Mei... As for the warriors of the Earth, they directly left to attack the Deadly Alliance... Li Mei was probably the only character from MKDA to participate in a tournament...

did you guys not see the intro video, pretty much all the guys that took on the deadly alliance died, including the pussyass kung lao and that high maintenance skank kitana, and the butch bitch sonya. shang is probably dead after that raiden self sacrifice blast, but we all know raiden is alive. What does it matter if anyone dies in mk anyway? They'll just be brought back to life through some lame loophole, just like cage, or liu kang, or goro, or scorpion, or mileena, or sareena. No one ever dies anyway, it would kill the marketing, think dbz and the dragonballs, where everyone dies for fun, it's like you have to be dead to join the COOL GUYS.

In Li Mei's bio its written that she best anyone and even would have best Kano ...... so I assume this tournament was among her people, and not the MKDA cast.
