What I don't get is, why didn't Raiden nuke them when he was losing before Onaga showed up? Had the DK not interfered the Deadly Alliance would have taken over. If he had this last resort trump card he should have used it earlier.

Well, I got the impression that Raiden had the confidence that he could beat the DA, but by the time Shang brought out the flame-snake, he seemed weakened and dazed. When trying to repel Onaga, he was steadfast, and his mind was clear. He had no illusions of chance.

He is just speculating. Nobody knows for sure what happened to them. And if you didn't want to know, don't log in. You can't make people put what you want in a thread title. Only way to be sure not to get spoiled is to stay off of forums.

Well seeing how the server was busy for so long I guess it was never clear to me that EVERYONE had not seen it... and why are you freaking I never saw it either but I didn't bitch.. people were saying b4 the video Quan-Chi and Shang Tsung were still alive so my title could have meant anything...

I dunno both of them could be alive, but I don't get why raiden would do that blast... You would think he would teleport everyone out of there and regroup, or quan would use the amulet against the dragon king.

i saw the video. i paused to the part when Raiden was gonna use his blast. It looks like Quan Chi and Shang Tsung jumped in the blast. I think both fused into Raiden due to him looking all evil.

well i believe that was teleportation of some sort and both of jumped in cus u could clearly see at full speed raiden teleporting and the da werent anywhere to be seen when blast hit so thats my theory i hope im right

Eh...I don't think that the sorceror's fused with Raiden. I think it's more possible that either the DA are dead, or if Raiden teleported them to safety that they then turned on him and finished the job. After killing him they possessed his body for deceptive reasons. Lol who knows what happened after that blast.

I have a question : I'm not sure, but I believe that I heard in the intro movie that Dragon Kings name IS Onaga... Have I well heard, or I have to buy a hearing aid? (For my defence, my English is rather bad) :/

I think the DA is very much alive... HOWEVER they are where Sonya, Cage, Kitana, Frost, and Kung lao are... imprisioned! (I say... just speculation)

I think to escape they joined forces, to bring back Liu Kang to beat their imprisioner, with his undead magic Quan chi made a body (kinda like the skull shield), and Shang Tsung added the soul to the green body.. and voila!!!! Liu Kang lives yet for another game

But haven't we seen screen shots of a charred Raiden? If he survived, one would think Quan and Shang could.

Raiden is an immortal God. Quan and Shang are just sorcerors. And Quan doesn't have his precious widdle amulet anymore. Without that, he's less than half of what Shang is.
And the only way Shang would give up Liu's soul is over his dead body.

I think its unlikely they would kill off both the deadly alliance members. i mean maybe one but not both of them, besides even if they are dead we all know somehow they will be alive in the next game. cos thats the mk way. well i mean if its true about cage lets just hope he stays dead this time dammit.

scorpion555 - Actually it makes perfect sense. The Deadly Alliance smote all who opposed them. Even Raiden was no match for their power. But then in comes the Dragon King and wipes the floor with all three of them, killing the DA and nearly Raiden.

It's a means to show you just how powerful Onaga is in comparison to the DA, Shao Kahn or Raiden.

Ie: Onaga > All

I'm gonna wait till i have broadband up and running again before i can see it.

As previously mentioned, how could you come to a webpage devoted to Mortal Kombat Deception news, updates and speculation, and not expect to see spoilers such as news and updates?
It's like boarding a bus and expecting it not to take you anywhere, then getting pissed off when it does.

Besides, none of this will truely be known untill we all finish the game, so for those of you that have, or are about to jump on the 'hate people because they posted news and updates on a news and updates page' bandwagon, examine the reason you're really here before letting loose.
