Moves AND fatalities have been switched during the making of the game. No telling what is really in the final gold copy of the game.
I'm hoping EVERYONE will have more than 2 moves.

dude it's not fair scorpion having awesome fighting styles, a faster sword and twice as many special moves. yeah i really hope they change it.

There's another long thread about this buddy. Don't be a dumbass next time and check b4 you post. Besides, no one has confirmed Sub_zero only having two moves. The creators have confirmed each character will have at least three moves and I doubt they would make quite possibly the most popular MK fighter have only two special moves.

Yea... and besides, Scorpion AND Sub-Zero are Boon's fave characters. He said himself that HE would'nt make a Mortal Kombat game without them two. I doubt he would give the classic Sub-Zero only 2 moves and some of the newer characters more.
I wouldn't worry about it too much if I were you. In fact, Subby having only two moves would be the last thang on my mind if I were you cause I doubt it'll happen.

good thing i had a noob tell me that. here's something that'll help: u can find up to 15 threads on the same topic. don't bitch just cause some1 did this b4. maybe i see it a little different than the other person did, even though it;s the same topic. don;t post if u don;t help. i'll make it clear next time.

I don't know, but I think the slide and ground ice would be pretty damn useful. And the way it's looking right now, Sub's only gonna have the two. Every video that you see shows this and they've also said it on Gamespot for their updated hands on preview. That's not to say that he won't have others for sure, but it is weird that only two have been shown/mentioned. But yeah, MKD is supposed to be an upgrade, taking away specials from Sub is a stupid move and doesn't seem like an upgrade at all. Fucked up if you ask me.

Um that was basically confirmed in Ashras video bio. Boon said that she will have the most special moves and she has about 4 or 5 so that means characters will have maybe 2 and 3 if lucky.
Think about it....

Ashrah don't got the most special moves. Kobra has 6 of them. But back to topic. If subby has in the final game only two moves i'll be no upset. Think about it. The ice clone is the most powerfull move in the game. It's a tricky move, cause you don't see it coming and get into this trap. Sure, 2 special aren't that much, but i can live with that what he got

I am very sure that Sub-Zero will have more moves. I bet he will have his ground freeze, and it will have the exact same effect as BoRaiCho's puke. He will probably have the cold shoulder move he had in MK:DA. It will be very sad if he ends up with the 2 moves we have seen so far.

this is what i believe... i think that every character has weaknesses and strengths. and you can't really disagree.. most people know its true. When you truelly master your character, you will know those weaknesses, and strengths.. Believe it or not, just when i thought i knew scorpions Weaknesses, and strengths, there were more i found out later.// same with sub zero.. though i don't pick him alot, though he is somewhat slow, i bet he must have some crazy combos, or inflich more damage.// to keep this short(kuz i hate reading long messages too), don't be pissed at the character you have, but be pissed that you haven't mastered them to the fullest, and when u think u have... then start over and figure out new things.
Finally since this is online, you will have the opportunity to play against many many different human players and all different level of skills.
here's a lil tip..// when you beat MKDA on Master, you will test ur skill.// i also think that the creators of single player making it as hard as it is on Master.. means they want u to use every move,combo, special attack, and defences that your character has.// just try it.
oh yeah.. on more thing.. everyone saw that video of ed boon doint a presentation of mkd on a big screen.. well if u recall.. shujinko's moves are scorpion's spear, sub-zeros freeze, ermacs/kenshi's up/down telepathic throw..// now that seems like a crazy character, but i'm starting to realize,, that though he has those moves, i bet mabye he doesn't do much damage, or doesn't have many combos.// i just bet.

Hey dumbass, I did help. Did you bother to read the second half of my post? If you weren't a dumb-fuck and your reading comprehension was good enough to read past the first two sentences than you would have seen that I said that the creators confirmed each character had at least three special moves. Also, I see nothing different about your thread and the other three or four. They all ask the same question and get the same answers as this one is. Oh and one other thing, Ashrah does have the most special moves. There was another thread on this a while ago and the count came to six for her. I'm not sure about Kobra but I don't remember seeing more than five for him.

I agree 100%, Sub-Zero is not a character to nerf, I mean, the guy's fighting styles aren't the greatest (not bad, but not great) and he didn't have very many specials to begin with.
I really hope he has his slide, I always saw Sub-Zero as a somewhat agile fighter, not a brute, as they've made him. He is also my favorite character by far, so I will not be happy in the least with two moves, when he's had around 7 differnt ones to choose, from. And hell, it's a character that revolves around ice, there are hundreds of possibilites for new moves too!

Just chill. There is still enough time to implement some more moves on his list. Besides although he is my fav. I still know there is so much more to look forwrd to in the game.

Asarah has 5 special moves, and Boon didn't say she has THE highest special moves, he said she has one of the higher special move counts. Other characters have 4-5.
And with this buisness of Sub-Zero only having 2 special moves, it's not true. Boon confirmed every character in DA returning to Deception will have all there DA moves, as well as some classic ones. Scorpion has the teleport punch back, and Sub-Zero has the ice clone, he also will have his 3 DA moves, and it's still possible that he has the ice puddle, so there's no need to get upset until you play it and confirm it for yourself.
I just hope Boon wasn't lieing...

Ice Clone is the shit, it's going to make Subby as good as MK3 Subby. Placing clones will allow Sub-Zero to fight safely within his fighting styles as well as force the opponent to be more defensive. Hell, if Subby only had Clone and no style changes, he'd still be better than MKDA Subby.

WOW, you guys surprize me. They said AT LEAST 2 special moves.. not that everyone has ONLY 2

From what I've seen in all the videos, it looks like sub only has 2 moves.
But I'm hoping for the ice blast, clone, slide, ground ice.
