Hrmmm... I look at it this way... Has anyone else read the info for the production art of the stage called Frozen Katakombs (sp?)? I feel that this is a hidden stage... 2 extra slots for stages right? Who knows.... Feedback?

Yeah that statement was made on the day of the games release. so whats the deal? somebody better step forward fromt he MK team and post on this forum we all know from the chat they READ the forum.

HEY MK TEAM!! if you read this we need to know whats the final word on any additional secrets that may or may not be in your game so we can either play the game as / is or play the game to keep searching I'll be happy with either ... as of right now I'm trying to get 1000 wins vs the cpu to see if anything happens.

Its no worse than the guys at fight night, their spelling was horrendous. My only question is that looks like its taken almost word for word from the gamespot interview.

True. I see no reason that couldn't have been from him.

on that page "his email " said "So there will be many hidden features in Deception. Not all of them will be additional characters", Boon did say that during fight night. That there are hidden features, not all of which are hidden characters. Actually the entire email seems to be a clearer version of what he was telling us at fight night.

"The main grid of characters is going to be 24, but there will be more." His answer monday could very easily taken (and was by many) to be saying that.

While nobody other than on of the developers can say if it is true or not. To me it doesn't really seem that far off from the half-a$$3d answers he was giving us monday, so i see no reason why it couldn't be real. Not going to get to wound up about it tough untill i see some prove that these things exist by unlocking them myself or seening a proven method released.

WHAT half assed anwers? Boon and Vogel were very clear..they said NO. They said the Yes, no , maybe after the initial VERY clear "no" because they were joking around, and to be honest, if people kept persisting that I wasn't honest with my first answer, I would mess with you too.
They were NOT half assed answers. They were as clear as could be. They said no.
The yes no maybe thing was them joking around. It's pretty obvious guys.

Im not saying it wasnt and Im not saying I believe this site. I just find it odd. If it is a hoax someone (the website) could be sued. IF its not (which all of the mods are sticking with the no SU answer) then its just BS we were played with. Im just the messenger, I couldnt care less either way.

Notice the suspicious absence of our MKO mods at the sight of this MK Australia News topic? They were locking threads left and right and posting just yesterday, and while I realize it is possible they are all busy and not on MKO, we could have exposed the joke of a bunch of people who for some reason, believe it is currently around the first of April. I don't really believe in this possibility, don't see a reason for the mods to do something like that, but I guess it is possible.

I just spoke to one of my contacts at Midway, and the official word is that there are no selectable characters outside of the main 24. In other words, the information MK Australia received about super-unlockables is bogus.

My contact said nothing about the GC version information, so that's open for debate. As for the SU's, though, the email they received is, sadly, inaccurate.

You do know that this isn't going to do anything to quell the amount of posts from the people that just can't deal with no SUs...

Like I said in very top post, Even if Ed Boon walked us all through the code to show us we would still not believe him about the SUs, heck even if the Pope, Ghandi, and God came down to tell us we would call them liars. That's the way it is right now. No amount of posts stating other wise will stop this until all versions of the game is released (GC, PAL version)

So as much as people are getting pissed at others for not understanding I have to say that getting upset at them is not going to help anyone. Everyone will believe what they want no matter what.

I think by the twelve characters, they mean the 12 puzzle characters of the characters that aren't represented in puzzle, such as Havik, Li Mei & Liu Kang. This is why we've seen several screens of puzzle characters that aren't supposed to be in puzzle.
But, if they are characters in actual play, they must be like Blaze/Mokap, with little-to-no storyline, and no fatalities.

Yeah, I know. I just wanted to make sure people knew we took this seriously and wanted to get confirmation either way. We did, and the answer was that the info was bogus.

First, I am not angry there are NO more SUs, but I like to know for SURE so I don't waste time anymore. The fight chat the responses were very unclear, and to some people it seems very clear there are NO SUs, but I don't see how anyone could think it was clear answers.

Second, you mentioned Boon should show us the codes, and that's exactly something I want to challenge Boon on... Unheard Lines like these:

"Kitana wishes to test your Edenian training
Will you show her all that you have learned?"


"Frost claims that she is the greatest Lin Kuei warrior
Will you prove her wrong?"

"Mokap does not appreciate what you said about him! Will you defend yourself?"

"Drahmin will unleash his oni rage upon you Will you stay and fight?"


What the hell are these lines doing in the code??



Somebody should STIR this up, man!

Confront with MortalKombatAustralia and call them liars, Ask them to provide THEIR side of proof, and see what they can come up with!
