New pics, new pics, new pics. I saw all of them, and two strongly caught my eye, but the one I want to explore for moment is this one.



Li Mei, anyone? I won't answer that, but as an unbiased viewer, let's dissect this predicament together. As we do with equations, let's cancel out everything we possibly can, then approach whatever is left. So first things first, allow me to quote the hundreds of users who hammered the phrase for more than a month: "That is so Mileena!"

WRONG! And here's why.

This is a pic of Mileena in her initial costume which we all saw in the trailor.



Now so far, we know each character is confirmed with at least two costumes. So far, we haven't seen any character with three, and the odds of that being Mileena in a third alt is completely beyond reason. Her second alt would be the pretty girl on the left:



So that pretty much cancels out Mileena. Now we have Kitana. To be honest, it wouldn't be such a surprise, since the mystery woman is wearing a shade of platinum blue and scantly garments, but it wouldn't be fair to only notice the similiarities. The hair and the face(from my perspective), seem to be an entirely different complexion and style. Her stance also appears to be one which Mileena had in the last game, but don't take my word for it because my memory sucks horribly.

But here's is our biggest dilemma. We recently got a foreign article(which my friends/sources have verified to be true) that say that our lovely Kitana has been kidnapped, and Sindel has dispatched to save her while combating Mileena. So let's get this straight... Kitana is is chained up with the Dragon King, but she's also kombating his forces in the outworld. She may be beautiful, be she isn't omnipresent. I'm not the smartest person in the world, but it seems Kitana has been taken out of the game so that Sindel and Mileena could be taken back in the game. So is it Kitana? I highly, highly doubt it.

But what of Tanya? She was recently confirmed and we have yet to see a pic of her, so maybe this picture is Tanya herself... or not. You see, Tanya's two most recognizable "features" were her extremely large breast size, and her dark skin(whether you interpret her edenian appearance as African or Latin descent is up to you). This mystery woman doesn't come even close to Tanya in terms of bust, and although this girl has an extremely nice tan, she is without a doubt of anglo descent.

So we're down to three woman: Li Mei, Sareena, or an entirely new character. I saw Kira's concept art, and that isn't her, so no point arguing that. From what we know from MKTE and MKM, Sareena has a pale, undead appearance with face marks. This character is missing both of those aspects, and her skin looks pretty healthy to me. But I won't say she isn't Sareena, because Sareena may have possibly obtained her vitality again. It could be a new character, but that again appears unlikely. I truly doubt they would make a character so simular to Li Mei, Kitana, and Sareena.

So with the evidence at hand, I'm going to restate my conclusion that I believe it is Li Mei because:

-Multiple inside sources have informed us that the girl in the past PSM pics is the character created and designed to be Li Mei. Whether you believe these sources is up to you. If you don't believe them, I really don't care anymore.
-This girl in the pic above has been seen in two different magazines with a purple color scheme. My belief is that they changed Li Mei from purple to blue so she would be distinctive from Mileena and Sindel.
-The character has many similiarities to Li Mei herself, and even though that isn't proof, there really is no such thing as proof until we play the game in october.
