Well, you'll notice that some articles of clothing are shinier than others, so I would suggest picking the shiniest items you can find and coloring them light gray.

Did anyone out there manage to make some old-design characters? (e.g. Sonya as she looked in MK1, MK3 and/or MK4)

Same,i also hate how you cant have the Girls wearing any type of dress,other than the school mini-skirts.I hate basically every KAK female you can make is always wearing skimpy clothes like most MK Females.Plus,it sucks that the guys cant have longer hair....

I don't think KAK is too bad in general for being a first run of it.

I'd like to see the following things change:

-dresses for women

-instead of categorize specal moves, have a whole list of them, you just
scroll down, pick one, and select which key combo goes with it (selecting,
say, 4 max) for example, with the current setup, you can't make a high
dragon punch and a low dragon punch because they are in the same
category and you can only get one of each category.

-markings on moves to show which ones can be used as weapon chains
when added to a combo. (like how Taven can go from punching to
swinging his sword in the same comob)

-a limit on max combo hits (say, 25%) to prevent "GOD" charactors from
being created (i'd also like to see this extend to preset charactors to prevent
such things as Kitana's 102% damage combo)

-More accessories (there is really no decent Darth Vader helmet out there,
the cowel is lacking pointy ears for my batman, my Jesus has no halo)

-Spraypainting if possiable. i have a supperman with no \S/ sysmbol on his
chest.

-More than one KAK per profile - currently you have to completly exit the
XBox live section to pick a new KAK to fight with by changing profiles. it
would be nicer if when you highlight the KAK space it pulls up a list of
multiple KAKs in the same profile and you can select which one to use for

Amen to all that. this was pretty bad ass for their first try, but it needs improvements.

definately not enough weapon variety like you said. they should have at least had two more weapon categories (staff and dual). the weapons themselves were in short supply as well. WE WANT PULSE BLADES DAMMIT! (or at least more straight swords. jeez, its like katana overdose)

I disagree with you, however, on the special move category thing. shlumping all of them on one list would be messy and it would take an hour to find the move you want. but they should take down the restrictions, like you said, so you can have multiple projectile moves and such. Also they need to put EVERY special move in there. I know for a fact that there are at least 8 telikenetic moves in the game, but it only gave me two furious. another cool thing they should consider is an option to decide what color the effect is, so your attacks don't look tacky and frankensteined. for instance, being able to change the "summoned black magic" from red to green or whatever.

Another thing, they need another attribute. weight! I wanna make a fat Jesus. or a 300 pound chick in a school girl outfit. grin
out of ninjas, cyborg thugs, evil ninja robots, martial artists, martial artists with sharp hats, princesses, bodyguards with more than 4 limbs, undead movie stars, native american shamans, evil emporrers, gods and secret service agents, you say Stryker didn't fit in MK3?

I liked it ok but some things bug me. so what id like to see are:

1) more traditional fighting stlye based cloths, eg The mongkull and prajioud that you would expect a muay thai fighter to wear that's his head thing and the frilly things on his arms just look at my adon pic.

2) more basic attacks that actually work together. Im sick of making what looks like a great combo only to try and use it and find the last hit always misses or it just doesn't combo and can be blocked after the first hit.

3) more weapons and im not just talking swords and axes. staffs and nunchakus would have been nice especially seen as they gave us the parts to make bruce lee, Bruce Lee without nunchakus the irony.

4) The real ball kicker the special moves i sincerely hope in the next game this bit gets a massive overhaul 1st i'd like control over the commands used to do the moves it's supposed to be my character if i want him to be simple and have every special start with towards towards then it should be so. 2nd definately as stated above the look of the special effects should also be customisable if i have jax's ground pound and want the ripples to be red then it should be made possible to change em red. and 3rd the list was just to small for some of the different types the moves should be very varied im not just thinking current moves but old moves aswell im thinking reptiles forceball raidens mk2 style thunderbolt as well as his current one things like that so that if you do older versions of characters then the moves add to the nostalgia. i gotta be honest it's pretty lame having the parts to redesign half of the rosters older costumes but brely having any of there moves i mean no reptile acid spit come on midway. anyway thats the direction id like to see kak go to.

I have a question.

I've been playing MKA for a while and I can't add Kitana's "pretty kick" for my Created Character. What's wrong?? It is not in the list, but I've seen many videos performing that special move -_-

So, is it really true that you can only have one created character per profile? I've seen people with at least ten created characters. Are you telling me that if I want to have ten or twenty created characters, I have to create ten or twenty profiles? If this is the case, then I'm sorry, but that just seems stupid to me.

Remember in MK4 how you could press a button in versus mode and it would bring up a box with the pictures of all of the weapons that you could choose for your character? In future MK games, I'd like to be able to press a button, and have it bring up a sort of mock character select screen that has pictures of all of my created characters to choose from, so you don't need to use extra boxes on the real character select screen. Because this whole shuffling profiles thing is beyond lame. Soul Calibur 3 gives you several slots (though alot of them have to be unlocked) for created characters, but in this game we get one only?

I was also wondering, does money translate from one profile to another? If I have 10,000 coins in my main profile, but my KAK is already created for that profile, am I at zero for any profile I create after that in order to create a new character? Or is there a way to transfer that 10,000 coins? I'm guessing not, but I suppose it doesn't hurt to ask.

I have the Xbox 360 version, and I just wanted to make sure, but I don't have to switch GAMER profiles, do I? When we're talking profiles, it's just within MKA itself, right? And people in this thread have done the MKA profile switching on the 360 and it works just fine? I could have my MKII Reptile on my main profile fight the MK 1 version of Sonya that my buddy wants to create for another profile?
