i think that sub zero is a reasonably good guess, actually. and the reason for this is that in past mk games, rayden has always been the most devoted to the cause of keeping earth realm safe, but usually the main figure in the tournament is someone he has convinced to fight for that safety. this has traditionally been liu kang, probably rayden's primary mortal ally. in mkda, it seems as though they've tried to push sub zero up on the ladder of important allies to earthrealm. sub zero's is the only ending where rayden personally thanks sub zero for his help in defeating the deadly alliance, and i think that is significant. he is now rayden's main guy, i think, which makes me think he's probably the main victor. but i also don't think mk is as clear cut as it used to be, so there probably isn't supposed to be just one champion anymore.

Actually Liu only one the first one. Not sure about the second game, but in MK3 all of Earth realm's mortals had helped drive Kahn out of Earth and back into Outworld (I think the Elders had a hand in that too). I think Either Rayden, Liu Or Subzero won MK4.

As FOR Deadly alliance? It really depends. Who hates Quan Chi and Shang Tsung badly enough to kill them or wanting to defeat them? Both Scorpion and Subzero have their reasons to hate Quan Chi; though Scorps is more personal. As for Shang tsung he is hated by many people and has made the most enemies in the MK series. He is hated by mostly Kunglao and Kenshi? I forgot Kenshi's reasons But Lao wants to avenge his brother Monk's (Liu Kang's) death

I think Kung Lao won but Reptile had the best story. I think he was the main charcter in this one.

I reckon that it's Sub-Zero. In Sub-Zero's ending, Rayden says "With Sub-Zero now the grandmaster of the Lin Kuei, earthrealm will be well protected" so this would have you think that it would be Sub-Zero especially considering that his ending goes well with Frost as well.

Neither of these endings conflict with Kung Lao's either. It could just be that Kung Lao beat Shang TSung and Sub-Zero beat Quan Chi or was responsible for nicking the amulet or something. I don't know about Kung Lao and Kitana's konquest 'cos I haven't had the chance to play them since I've been away from home at college.

I really think that it is Sub-Zero though.

Oh yea. I almost forgot! Drahmin hates Quan Chi too in the end.
I think it's Kenshi.

Why is he shown during the credits?

Just a few points...

In the MK3 manual, the Kung Lao's profile suggests that he was the victor of MK2:

"After avenging the death of his ancestor by emerging Supreme Champion against all Outworld opponents..."

In the MK4 manual, it vageuly suggests that Liu Kang defeated Kahn in MK3:

"Still the Immortal Champion of Mortal Kombat..."

As for MK:DA, I initially thought that it could've been Kung Lao for the sake of story. Y'know, he takes revenge for the death of Liu Kang and all that.

But now I've been convinced that it could very well be Sub-Zero defeating Quan Chi and then Kung Lao defeating Shang Tsung. Again, it just makes sense for the sake of story.

Ermac won MKDA. If you beat it with Blaze 1000 time in a row without resting the machine you get Ermac Rain and Bungle. Beat it with all of the a further 1000000000 times and you get Rain's 30th ending in which it shows a movie of Ed Boon and he says "damn how did you find this, yes Ermac is the true victor of MKDA"

It says Liu Kang is still the immortal champion, that I know. he's been the immortal champion since the first MK. That's what it meant. No it was all the mortals involve din the invasion who defeated Kahn

why doesn't anyone just read Kitana's and kung lao's conquests? The end of their conquest's say they beat quan chi and shang tsung. It even makes sense when you read their conquests and endings.
