The Wedding is OFF!!!! Cage is such a son a bitch! (SPOILERS)
The Wedding is OFF!!!! Cage is such a son a bitch! (SPOILERS)
I just cant stop laughing, probably one of the most hilarious parts of the entire Intro (which looks amazing but in essence sucks horribly btw) is without a doubt the little bit of sarcasm or irony that occurs at 2:42-2:45 seconds in the vid.
It was just so cute to see Johnny Cage and Sonya, an “assumed” love couple in the games, run together towards death itself to defeat Blaze, and then, suddenly, the bastard who has tried so hard to “get the girl” decides to throw her off the pyramid just because either evil or ego got the best of him....
Thanks to Sonyas comical pose (when falling) and her girly-witch scream, she definitely takes the award for most the comical part of the intro. Still, I want these two to get married, and since the intro “supposedly” doesn’t mean anything at all, then maybe theres still a chance, or was it just a hint to let us know Sonya will never be with the goofy Mk kid of Mk?
Or is Cage somehow still possessed or tainted by evil? hmmm...
Anyway, Enjoy this small comic about:
What TRULY happened before Cage knocked Sonya off...a love story
Go here: "Romance in a Pyramid": A short love story....very short
But in all seriousness, what I dislike about it, its that it really takes away the “loyal and faithful” factor of Johnny Cages character, even though he can be egotistic and annoying, he is still true to his friends....thevid, canon or not, just proves the opposite.
And that really sucks. It looks funny, but in essence it sucks and it was lame. Just like how the intro visually looks awesome, but theres no depth to it.
It sucks.
What did you think of this bit?
What else made you laugh?
- It was quite funny when Stryker punched Mileena (she looked so innocent!).
- When Shao Kahn got all menopausal and started “hammering” everyone.

Perhaps Cage was trying to save her lol! It was a surprise seeing that part happen and Sonya's scream was hilarious. I'm surprised she wasn't busy kicking Kano's butt although she gave Frost a good run for her money.
Nice comic too! It was a little confusing. Some of the speech and typos need tidying up.

LOL!
I actually hadn’t thought of it that way, but I doubt it. My guess is that he wanted all the glory.
Definitely, I think he loves himself more then anything else, like stated in a pocked Mk4 guide book (it talked about fave food, origin, what they hated, etc)...but that also stated Sonya so. I have no idea. Oh btw, thanks about the comic but, I fixed the mistakes.

LOL! Mileena looked so innocent and cute and sweet when looking at the pyramid. Poor bitch. Stryker must pay.

We don't know whether Cage ever loved Sonya. For all we know, he could secretly hate her!

At that moment he realized he was never going to get any, he decided like all men, fuck it take the power, push her off the pyramid! LOL.

Now that would be a horrible shock.
More reason for me to hate the story,

In this realm, you gotta kill the Blaze first. Then when you kill the Blaze, you get the power. Then when you get the power, then you get the women...
Or not, cause you pushed Sonya off of a five hundred foot stone pyramid. Tard.

LOL.
However, I think Stryker's sucker punch on Mileena and Jax's "WHAT ELSE YOU GOT!?!?!" before being introduced to Shao Kahn's hammer were more comical.
If your comic were actually spoken... That would easily take it.

LoL!
If Sonya and Cage survive, he's gonna need new dentures.
That was a very comical piece of the intro for sure. It's comforting to tell you that I don't regard the intro as canon, because there is just soo much things that don't make sense or are out-of-place (Johnny throwing Sonya off, Jax fighting Quan Chi, the list goes on but this isn't the place for it). Also, Boon has also mentioned the intro is just for fun, although how literally we can take that is unknown.
At least Sonya kicked Frost's ass around a little bit before going for the ride.

Her being my most hated character is like having one of my dreams come true, but cdoming that from cage and not by Kano or Kahn, just made the intro for me. Her demise was awsome, and the scream actually made her look more like a girl and not like the she-male she apparently is.
Actually, the Cage/Sonya relationship was something introduced in the Mortal Kombat movie and not the game storyline. As far I know, it has never carried over.
In fact, the only storyline I remember ever carrying over from the movies is the Cage Vs Goro storyline (again, introduced in the movie not the game).
So it's really no big deal that he punches Sonya in that sense. Also, I don't really see this video as being part of the canon storyline of the game. Just a way to introduce you to what this outcome "might" be like.

That isn't even really in the game's story either.
The Liu Kang/Kitana relationship is the only thing from the movies that definitely became canon.

Why is it that people think they were "in love"? Just because a movie based in the game said so? It was never acknowledged that they were even friends*, let alone possible romantics in the officialy storyline, why should that change now? I can't watch the moive on this computer for whatever reason, but I'm willing to bet that it's a funny take on what people assumed would happen between them.
*Just because they work together for the greater good doesn't mean they kick-back and have a few beers together either; for all we know, their relaitonship could be compared to a work-place relationship and nothing more; either that, or Johnny just thought Sonya was hot.

There are a few ways to look at this:
1. The MK team just love to goof off like this and so they many a funny non canon intro.
2. The characters must be under some kind of spell which draws them to the top of the pyramid no matter what.
3. Cage has f*ckin lost it and the wedding is really off!
