Anyway, I don't see the ''intro'' as anything more than a four minute commercial for the game. I wouldn't even call it an intro, since it says nothing about the outcome of MKD.
My favorite parts were Kahn laying waste to all in his path with his big friggin hammer, and Liu Kang coming out of the shadows after Shang. He cracks his broken neck back into place, and makes some wierd noise. That was some scary shit, like something out of Resident Evil. And Shang turns back to an old geezer like he was in mk1. Most of it was so fast, and the resolution wasn't all the greatest on my compu. I'll have to wait for the game to come out then i can watch it in better quality as many times as it takes to take it all in.

where the heck was goro, motaro, moloch, etc. I only remember seeing kintaro, onaga & kahn. Oh well.

Although I didn’t find funny Kahns rampage or Onagas appearance, for me they were more serious and more dramatic. I loved the way Onaga took Kahn away....awesome.

ha if u look at when kahn was smashing everything with his hammer, cage was one of the victims. he was actually the only guy that got up from his hammer to actually run up the pyramid and push sonya off.

i also noticed right before kenshi had his epic battle cage was getting slugged in the face by hsu hao afew times and they took their fight to the side of the pyramid.

cage seemed like one of the most involved in that intro along with shang tsung, quan chi, mileena, and shao kahn.

everyone was saying that cage didn't push Sonya of the parymid. they were saying that she fell. i don't know, i only saw it once, it takes a long time for it to load. but yet, i shouldn't listen to pretty much everyone on this website since half of hte people are telling true things, while the other are rumors.

Well, out of all the females with screen time, I think Sonya gets the better half of the stick. She only gets pushed. Kitana gets knocked way off screen *I was shouting with joy when she bested Kano, but that soon ended*, Sheeva was stabbed and sliced, Mileena was punched in the face, and can we forget Li Mei ?*if she lived through that attack, I will be surprised*...

Watching closely, Sonya is a step ahead of Cage. It had to have been his ego. The nudge also looks very intentional, though it also looks as if he was trying to be gentle and he also looks back to check is she ok. I just watched it in slow mo just out of boredom and it looks like Sonya was ahead of Cage, his ego got the better of him so he gently pushes her off the steps.

Ok my comments on what happened in the intro.



As for Kitana and the 2 poor souls who got knocked into the air when the pyramid rose up, my comment was, look up in the sky its some birds, its some planes, no, its 3 poor souls who got knocked in the sky.

Mileena got pimp slapped though lol. After that Stryker should change his name to A Pimp Named Slickback (anyone who watches The Boondocks knows what I meant lol)

This could either mean they screwed up Cage with the lame “ego” piece of garbage, or that theres more to this intro then we know. Probably theres some sort of effect that the sudden appearance of Blaze caused in all characters, reason why they are all running to be first like idiots.

Or maybe, theres some sort of evil still in Cage because of Onagas resurrection.

I rather any of those 2 last options (preferably the Onaga one) instead of the first, that’s just stupid.

I think this conforms that the Johnny Cage in the games is different than the one from the first movie. I thought Cage in Mortal Komabt the movie was cool he had an Ego but he wasn’t as self centered as the game version of himself, the Johnny Cage in the games is ridiculous especially his MK4 ending.
