Well if they remake it (they wont), then i want it to be similar to MKSM, with up to 4 players simultaneously.
there shouldnt be string specials and each characters moves should resemble their real moves, not necissarily pop-up or stun. there should be no stun kombos, long jumps, powerups... but psuhing in the analog stick should make your character croutch, so a low game is possible.

I'm not. I still think it's a dumb idea for them to invest MORE time in a game that's already been released rather than work on Mortal Kombat 8 for the newer systems.
If they spend time re-making this game instead of concentrating on the new one then you'll all be the same people (including Hellraiser's imaginary friend) bitching because the NEXT MK game isn't good enough.
If you think this game is bad, then go sell it at Gamestop and go buy your crappy Tekken game instead. Otherwise quit wasting time at the MORTAL KOMBAT forums talking about how MK sucks.

i say the game is fine, especially for 40 bux. not too often u get a large mk game for less than 50 nowadays. large being, many characters, bonus games (konquest, motor kombat) stuff to unlock, and even a kreate a character.
this game should have retailed 49.99.
now, there is a few things i was disappointed in, BUT, i see it this way, i was also disappointed in MKDA, but i realize now that MKDA was like a "beta test" for future mk games. they took a new step to try something out, and they had to take a small step in that direction. So MKDA did not have all the glory it sahould have had, but they changed the fighting engine from the others, and incorporated fighting styles for the first time. it seemed to work out fine, so they put that to its full use in MKD. and that game was amazing.
now comes MKA, the last mk for old gen systems, so they wanna try some new things. kreate a character, kreate a fatality. well, the best way to do this is to incorporate it in the game with minimal advantages and minimal moves to see how it runs. it works great with what little they put into it, so now they know for the next mk they can put use to full extent on these new ideas. so expect kreate a character AND kreate a fatality to return in the next mk in bout a year or so. but with massive improvements, and everyone will get what they really wanted.
i can say the same for MK4, i thought the game was terrible, i never liked the 3D aspect, to me it was another virtua fighter or tekken, weapons were completely stupid to me, never used them.
but again, MK4 was a test to see how the new ideas would go over, then MKDA was born. excellent 3D arenas, easier to use the weapons, instead of a kode to pull them out. now i cant imagine fighting without the use of a weapon at my disposal, but before, i would never think of using it, it was a stupid idea.
so take this game as "a taste of things to come."

You may be the one who doesn't give up easily but you'll also still be the one who is (A) wasting their time trying to get a game remade that won't (B) will bitch because the next game isn't good enough because they spent all their time remaking a perfectly good game and (C) hanging out with imaginary friends. BACK OFF!! No way..
This thread wasn't made for the people who want the game to be revised.. once again.. read your OWN title it says REMADE. And on a public forum I think that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and my opinion is that it's dumb to waste time remaking a game for a system that will be dead in less than 2 months. 'Nuff said.

You have a point. Something is afoot,because it seems almost as if they were actually trying (really hard) to piss off positively every single hardcore fan.
As far as the possibility of remakes is concerned,let's take a look at the MK series,shall we?
MK3 - Two remakes,UMK3 and MKT.
MK4 - At least three revisions and one remake,MKG.
MKD - Two remakes,MKD for the Cube and MKU.
So yeah,the Wii port sounds like a good opportunity to deliver. And come on,this is Midway we're talking about here. Do you really think they would send their favorite cash cow away just like that?
