Time is no matter anymore? What? Most games these days suck because most of the problem is the production time alloted to them. Games didn't take as long to make back in the day, so taking a long time meant making a great game. Now in the same time it'd take to make a great game back in the day, these days would be enough time to make a piss-poor game. You need more time then ever to make a great game.

There's a difference, he's making it out to be like his whole world is collapsing around him, literally crying about it. I'm sorry, but I've grown up with alot of games, MK especially, and I'm sure alot of us have, but none of us are making such a fuss as your friend is.

I don't think your friend exists - if he does, I don't think he would describe himself as you do.
They're not going to remake this game. If they do I don't want it. I paid my $50 for this version and if they want to replace it (which they won't) then fine. I don't want them coming out with a better version in three months and have them say "Oh, sorry guys, this is the version you should really try, that will be another $50!"
There is no amount of content they could add that would make it worth that much. It would have to be a completely new game.
If I get a ps3 and if it comes out for it I might consider that copy, but hopefully they'll fix this somehow. I honestly think that the only way to fix the story is to come up with some kind of MKM to deal with this period. I would get that game...

Ed Boon can't remake a JUST-RIGHTNOW gett up game on shop's shelves,and Midway won't pay a F***king $ to remake it.
You have to wait and hope for Nintendo Wii verons,but i doubt about it...
i think that Boon likes a lot Armageddon for what it is,a very good game with some new modes and subgames,but not a masterpiece,and maybe it's exactly what Boon wants.
He can put in it without problems,for example,old style fatalities or specifical fatalities moves alongside ustom fatalities,he can put Khameleon in it,he can put without problems also ten created characters per profile,but he DON'T WANT SO!
I hope only that Ed wil hear ALL fan's explanations and protests for having a masterpiece on PS3/360 in MK8.
I have to say just one thing:i plaied ALL MK in arcade and in consoles versions8except for UMK3 i play it only on SNES version,and of course the latest four) and except Mk3 i never been disappointed before,i like Special Forces and Mythologies,but i never forgive Boon to make MK3 and MK Armageddon.
Maybe i will not buy this game,i trust Gamspot,and i don't ant to spend a $ for a game that take just 7/10and listen people tellins us "it's the greatest MK of all times!".

I like it. You guys need to figure the story isn't canon and its just a mk trilogy for the current gen systems. Its a fun game but the story is crappy and doesn't matter anyhow because..
