MKT was canon so your statement is inaccurate. It added Johnny Cage to and modified Raiden's role in MK3, it also introduced Chameleon so if it was non-canon he wouldn't be part of MK:A's roster (he wouldn't exist). There are a few non-canon characters in it however:
Goro - Doesn't have an ending, his bio is a recap of his role in MK1.
Kintaro - Doesn't have an ending, his bio is a recap of his role in MK2.
Human Smoke - Smoke's previous form; he exists only as a memory, his bio states this and his ending reinforces it.
Classic Sub-Zero - Noob Saibot's previous form, we didn't find this out until MK:D.
MK1 Raiden, MK1 Kano, MK2 Jax and MK2 Kung Lao all use the original character's story.
Also; if MK:A was non-canon, why is it that it's being marketed as the end of this chapter (MK1-MK:A) of Mortal Kombat? So that statement is incorrect too.

You know I've been reading people's complaints in a lot of forums about the game and quite frankly I'm getting sick of it. You can't expect it to live up to ALL of your expectations. What do you think kids in Bahgdad, Iraq are doing right now? They're sure as hell not enjoying a bomb ass video game that's for sure.

Mortal kombat is known for its fatalities and dark gruesome fighting appeal and they should continue on that level. i think deception turned out that way more than this armageddon. i am not putting down mortal kombat because shit i have been playing this game since the good old days. I really enjoyed mk 2 and mk3 the best for its fatalities and dark appeal.
I think this game must return to the good old days and i have a feeling they will more into it in the new generation consoles.

Its a great game, they talk about story line, but didnt beating Conquest tells us Scoprion defeated the Dragon King in MKD??? For Sheeva, Kintaro and Frost, it did make sense on why they return. Sure I lost with Raiden. But over all I enjoy the game.

i've got an idea! we all know that remaking mka actually is impossible,but they could enhance mka under a new name (like was umk3 for mk3/mk gold for mk4)just by bringing back some stuffs from mkda and mkd like :
1-some arenas:kuatan palace/nethership/quan chi's fortress/portal/living forest/pit/dead pool......(at least replacing some crappy arenas from konquest by classic ones)
2-more mini games:test your might/sight ,chess,endurance mode....
3-endings and bios with pics.(and explaining what happened to some chars we've missed)
4-mixing new fatality system with the classic system(eg:with scorpion you're doing an actual fatality and then u press up button twice making him breathing fire...and each character would have his own classic fatality)
5-multiple finishing moves:hara kiri/brutality/mercy...... for each character.
6-kustomize warriors:eg:u pic an mk character like raiden and u customize his outfit so that u can make classic costumes and even new ones/and also buying moves and combos for that character(this idea grew in my mind since i've seen kak)
7-more arcade ladders ala mk3.
8-bringing back the toasty guy and ecouragements during combats(this may be stupid but i like'em)
9-a krypt ala mkda with hundreds of koffins (with plenty of unlockables chars)
10-enhance the konquest mode by picking areas from mksm.

I think its very possible they could do a reenhancement game (like UMK3). If its a question of available memory, then take out Motor Kombat. That alone has to take up a lot of memory which could be used for bios and real endings. They could also enhanced KAK by putting in all available characters costumes for us to use.
If they just did that much, I'd be all over that game.

Well... I like the game. I think it is a good MK game that is pretty fun. And still not 100% fact that there aren't bio's in the game.... last time I'm saying this... But yeah I think there are bio's in the game that we just gotta unlock. Probably got to do with that ? in the krypt. Same goes for viewing the endings, and maybe unlocking even more stuff like stuff for KAK. Maybe a ending video even.... dunno for sure, but yeah I think there are bio's in the game. Even if not, this is still a good MK game. If bio's in the game then it is probably one of the top 3 best MK's imo.
Any way I look at MKA though it is still a good game imo. Can't wait till all these people saying how the game sucks will just leave the forum for good.

Damn man give the guy a break, shit. There is really no need to sit here and say that a guy with cancer is stupid for loving MK too much. For one thing, and I hope this is read very clearly : ....Aren't we all here because we are MK Freaks??!?!!!!?!? Am I wrong?!?!?!? It isnt wrong to be a critic or have problems with a game, especially a game like this because the MK Team had it coming leaving so much stuff out of the game. I've played MK since 1st grade when MK1 first came out on arcades and now I'm 20 and still play it more than ever, and I have all the comics and the films and the tv series and the action figures (not all, but most), and memoribillia, so am I ridiculous too? If so then why the hell is anybody on here? I thought people became a member of MKO because they loved MK and thought about it more than anything and bled MK through their veins, I guess not. I feel for the guy, wehter he's real or not man, I feel sad for anybody that was expecting a great MK came because this game was a let down no matter what anybody says. Deception had more than this game, more stuff in the krypt, whole hell of a lot more exploring in Konquest, I could play Konquest on Deception for weeks still exploring diffferent things, with Armageddons Konquest I could beat it in one day and have everything, this game was a quick buck for Midway, and they made it out to be a lot bigger than it really was. The only good thing about this game is that it has 62 cahracters and KAF, which is totally less expanded than they said it was going to be. Im not saying this game sucks. I actually like it, but its nothing like Deception or MKDA, and it should have been, because MK was really going somewhere with its rich story. To tell you the truth, I hope to God that they rerelease this game, like they did Deception Unchained, they could expand Konquest maybe explaining more, or they could add bio's and better endings, thats all it would really need, I would sign the petition if there was one. MK to me is everything man, I have a life, I like other things, wrestling, MMA, F-body cars, Greek Mythology, Batman, Daredevil, playing Guitar (all the time), building race engines and working on race cars w/ bros, there are tons of things in my life besides MK. And Im sure this guy who is sick has other things in his life as well, but when you anticipate a game like MKA for a whole entire year, especially when your sick and isolated, it really makes you expect, and MK has always delivered with tons of rich material and widespread storylines, but they failed this time, so it would easily let a dependant MK fan down. hey,since in this forum there are people that talk with John Vogel why they don't ask him straightly to make an exspansion game like UMK3 and MKT and MKGold?
they have to add just some bios,some decent endings and at least one old style fatality per character...plus the actual KAF with specific moves per characters.

They can always do what they did with Midnight Club 3. They re-released it with additional cars, new customization, and a sort of new level (Tokyo was from MCII). For a new version of MKA, they could include a couple of fan favorite levels from MKDA and MKD, add in Khameleon (wouldn't be that hard, especially if she is like Chameleon), add some bios, and a final FMV. Sell it as a greatest hit/platinum for $20, and there you have it.

They are busy working on the next MK game, they aren't going to waste time doing a remake.
