posted06/29/2004 10:33 PM (UTC)byA whole LOT of fatalities. each character should have at least 5 fatalities a piece. fatalities is what makes this game period. trying to figure out new fatalities is the real fun part of it all. so the more hidden ones the better. midway please gives us lots and lots of fatalities and this game will last a long time.

2 each plus stage could be enough. If they add weapon fatalities then it definately will be enough.
I just hope something new, such as my "Character Specific Fatalities" gets strong consideration.

THE NECK STRETCH WTF IT WAS AWESOME
The First time I saw it that is it lol. I saw it and was like awesome until he jumped off and it was over I was like WTF lol it was lame. With all there giving us I think its enough death traps 2 fatalities loverality w/e this is lol a stage fatality maybe babalities and friendships also the dazed person can do a HARI KARI lol. Hell if they threw in animalities and brutalities it would be awesome but I rathe have a better fighter first.

I think they need to improve with the fighting styles. I felt they lack attacks and need more. But i did like how mkda did focus on certain stragety's with each characters instead of giving them random attacks out of place.

The neck Fatality is funny when his opponent falls to the floor. I tlooks like they don't where they're going and then trip over a rock.
But anyway, I think it would be pretty tough to mkae 5 Fatalities for EACH character. Especially if the creators will plan to make them worth seeing

No actually I agree this game needs a deeper game play but with ALL Midway has given us its all good you know. But maybe next time they'll strengthen the gameplay cause most pple would rather have a deepper gameplay engine plus have all the extras as a added bonus and thats what this game needs.........

I for one li...ok i'll admit it, i didn't like the neckstretcher...but i didn't dislike it.
It was better than at least half the fatalities in that game.

I think we have enough as is with 2 fatalities for each fighter.
But if they did more, then great.
I'd like to see the classic fatalities again, Weapon fatalities and character specific fatals.
But before they go all crazy and start doing all the fluff. I would like a much better fighting engine first and foremost. That's what you spend the most time doing.....fighting.
They should not forget or slack on the most important part of the fighting game.

I also like to have a lot of Fatalities, this way they won't get to lame fast. I would like to have three fatalities in Deception. But I think Deception is going to have quite a few fatalities in it.,
Each character has 2. and the stage fatalities, which sounds like each stage has a death trap (would be cool), and the self kill move, and mabe if there is a new ality comming.

Ah Bleed you're a champ, well said. We will get at least 2 unique per chaacter as well as stage fatalities. The gameplay engine does need to expand and improve. I am thinking it will but to what extent remains to be seen.

Fatalities certainly help the game though and make it better the more gruesome the fatalities are the better.MK started the whole controversial volience in games theres no need to have silly fatalities like bo's bellyflop that fool shouldnt even be in the game.

What I DO want to see is every unlockable/playable character COMPLETE with their OWN fatalities. No Mokap / Blaze bullshit.

sumixam, i read your thread on character specific fatalities, and holy crap! Awesome idea dude. If the MK staff looked at this site's forums regularly, they'd add in some really good ideas.

Being that the game will be online. It would be cool to have quite a few fatalities to lay on.
But the game really needs alot of colors to make the characters and background look pretty close to realism.

Agreed! A few more Fatalities wouldn't hurt, but I think the gameplay needs to be improved upon a lot more.
