Scorpion's soul is cursed. The only place he is going is back to hell. Only his body was ripped apart, it said nothing about his soul or his life being drained.
Plus, only some of the soul's were for the army. The rest of them were for Shang Tsung, to keep him alive forever.

Scorpion dose do what he wants to do. At the end of MK4 he could have killed Sub-Zero with out question, but he gave him the chance to speak.
He can do whatever he feels is necessary to free his soul. He is far from a follower.

If his soul is still 'alive' then he could easily get a body and form it into what he wanted... Maybe take a cyborg body and make it to be like his original. But if he wasn't in it i would only buy it if they put Sub-Zero, the original, not the second one with the scar, in it. Because they are the best characters in the whole MK series. Maybe Scorpion would take over Sub-Zero's body and they have a combo of "get over here" and "freeze-type" moves.

Yeah, IF Scorpion turned out not to be in it, as long as Human Smoke is probably in it, i'd still buy it... Human Smoke is just like a gray version of Scorpion anyway... He even shoots the spear and says "GET OVER HERE!"

Honestly, if they keep the new games like they are now, I would only buy it to see the storyline. MKDA complete killed my die hard fan based terms with MK.

There's very little chance of Scorpion not being in MK6... but even so, I don't think I'd buy it if he wasn't in it. I'd end up just renting it for the storyline and what not.

I'd still buy it, but if either Scorpion, Sub Zero, or Baraka aren't in it, I'll be really disapointed.

If they don't put Scorpion in MK6, I will be pissed off. What would give them the idea of removing one of the greatest Mortal Kombat charaters. I guarentee you that Scorpion is gonna be in the next Mortal Kombat, but since his body was ripped to shreads by The Portal Of The Heavens, he'll be back differently. All I know is that Scorpion should kick ass like he always do.

take a look at super-man......before: the man of steel, the same thing for 50 years. after: shocking trasfomion that made superman red, ass kicking story line!
jax, before: very plan, like rice, the tolken black guy, poor reson to have sonya tied to a post. after: robot arms, damm cool to have some sci-fi in mk, bad-ass.
spider-man, before: one cool super-hero, amazingly popuer. after: a story line that kinda touchs on drug use, (the simbyote that later became venom.) he also has had the power cosmic and was unaware of it, became spider-hulk, grown six arms and much more.

and then........
he-man, before: realy cool....lasted the 80's....then........ after: NA he-man was born...this show reminds me of the hulk movie: it's good, great even, but it's just not made for he-man.
g.i. joe, before: was fun.....the toys were, and still are, cool. but then..... after: g.i. joe Xereme.......eco force......srt. savage (*coff* *captan amereca rip cOFF*)......i, at that time, injoyed the incedable crash dummys, god i miss that toy line!
