Ashrah's story is really good... Knowing the MK Team of course they'll find a way to fuck it up with having her die or something.

...By the way, I don't think she's psychotic at all. She's just trying to purify herself of evil, just because killing demons to her is a potentially selfish cause doesn't mean it's a psychotic one.

Man, I hope that's the case, because we need a depraved and insane character, it would be interesting.

Delusion and insanity are two different things though.

Hell yeah, ever play Twisted Metal Black.. All of them were deluded. She may be like the preist character fighting for this cause only to find out it was one big mirage. Her ending would be so cool.

Yeah I like her story so far! She seems like she's evil but isn't on evil's side.

It seemz to be everytime an Ashra thread is posted there are so many postz lol but htatz good she lookz great her weapon is awesome and her story is 1 of the best shez moss def in my top 5

The first time I seen Ashrah I automatically thought that she was a sister to Rayden with the hat and the way her eyes glowed, but now I think about it I don't think it would be possible. But anything is possible this is MK after all

Yea she has nothing to do with raiden i figured that out a long time ago. She also had raidens flying torpedo but when MIDWAY changed their mind and decided to make raiden playable they gave him the flying torpedo move back and took it way from ashrah.
I am glad the teleport and special moves of all fighters are back, it feels like an MK game again.
I am als glad about the storylines every since MK became a home console game.
I like the way they talk about everybodys fighting styles where they got them from, and i LOVE the way they even explain where they got their weapons from.
scorp was a ninja and had the weapon, subzero made his of ice and taught frozt how to make hers but she was only able to make smaller ones, ashrah found hers while on the run, reptiles got his from his race, nitara found it and gave it him.
Man its lovly how they explain everything about the storyline these days have FMV intros, even explain where they got there weapons from.
Ashrah is like another subzero in that she uses the weapon to prove she is not on the side of evil nomore, just like subzero proves he isnt on the side of evil nomore and changed his clan for the better.
The new fighters in Mk4 and MKDA sucked ass, and MK:D is going all out, i dont have a problem with ANY of the new fighters, not even darruis.
I think darruis will be the JAx that we ALWAYS wanted, sometimes i think darruis is cyrax himself, but thats just my specualtion.
Ashrah yea usually dont like female fighters but i probably gonna play as ashrah first in the game, but what about hotoru, got any news on him, make a thread about hotoru that man looks SICK.

Ashrah's story is very interesting!
I like her a lot, plus her looks are great, is more classy than the other females!

Ashra still has the torpedo.Its different from raiden's though,she spins as she goes across the screen.

The Kriss reminds me too much of the Soul Edge, which isn't a bad thing in this case. Ashrah isn't just killing senslessly, she wants to purify her self. But is it her own will or that of the Kriss that's making her think that. It wouldn't surprise me if the MK Team pulls a Nightmare on us and completely submits her to the sword.

yep,Ashrah is one of the best newcomers in Deception,good story and good looking character....and i hope her fatalities are as good as she looks.

Jus FYI, The Kriss is actually a malay weapon that originates from Malaysia.. It's still used by Malays for cermonies and such.. It is also commonly used by Malay black magicians called 'Bomohs' to perform black magic and it is believed that powerful spirits called 'Jinn' also reside in certain kriss and do the bidding of the owner and even protect the owner..
And if i'm not wrong, the Kriss is also used in the Malay fighting style 'Silat'...

I know it is not 100% sure that what he said was real or the truth, I stated that fact in the first lines of the update, BUT, it could very well be real.
I don’t think its fair to jump into rush conclusions and say the guy was laying and it was all fake.
If it is, then it sucks (for him) and rocks (because the ending seems kind a lame), and I agree it could very well be fake, but I also think it can be true.
So, we will just have to wait and see.
