UPDATED--ENDING: Ashrahs Story is Awesome!!! Her weapon might be very important...(BIO and ENDING inside)

Thanks to Kano_Fan we now know part of her bio:
****Used to be one of Quan chi's body guards until she didn't agree with one of his plans. She was cast out and the other bodyguards were sent to kill her.
While she was on the run, she found a blade known as kriss which she used to defeat her first attacker - as she did, she felt a strange power flow through her - the blade was enchanted.
Now with every deamon she slays,she feels that she is being purified.*****

Thanks to New member dazzlindazza, we now know (if what he says is true) Ashrahs ending, and she is related to Noob-Smoke somehow!

****Ashrah goes after Noob Saibot and Smoke. She doesn’t fight Smoke, she says that Smoke may still have some humanity in him but Noob has not.
****She defeats Noob then escapes from the Neatherelms. She leaves abandoning her mystical sword that helped her escape. The sword stayed behind with the purpose to help other warriors escape as well.****
Well....it seems like the sword isnt really evil.
I find her story to be very interesting. It also seems that her weapon will be one of the very few that plays an important role in the story, just like Kenshi’s mystic Katana soul sword.
I think we never expected her to work for Quan Chi, this is also an interesting fact. I think she is still evil, but likes to kill like a psycho.
Ashrah seems to be one of the most interesting characters of Mk. I really look forward for knowing more of her story.

Where did we find out so much of her story? Everything about her is looking like they are really going all out with their new characters. My only concern is that she seems to have the special moves of my favorite hat wearer Kung Lao, so I've completely given up hope that he's super secret cuz of her.

I really dig Ashrah. I was watching some show on the discovery channel and saw some ladies wearing basically the same thing she wears, just not as nice looking but same hat. I thought, "Hmmm, that would be a good costume for an MK female." I guess someone else thought so too. I think her story is pretty cool, especially because I wouldn't have ever thought that she worked for Quan Chi. I wonder what the full story behind the Kriss is.

Awesome! I love her story and her weapon! She just got more interesting. Ashrah is definitely the most interesting character in MKD. I love everything about her! Being one of Quans ex bodyguards is rather intriguing and very shocking. I can't wait to see what this means in terms of what she will do in the rest of the story.

Interesting story I must say. I like it how her weapon is playing a big role in her story. Her weapon is already becoming a trademark of this character this way (like Kitana has her fans). I like most of the new characters so far.

I agree. To me, this thing is tricking Ashrah. I think it will slowly take posetion of her mind and body and probably use her.
I think the weapon has a life of its own, probably an ancient king (Jerrod?) or a lost soul.

She definitly has to be involved with Sareena now. A Demon Huntress and an escaped Demon but they both hate Quan Chi. Can't wait to see where this goes...

Lucky bastard. Also, with Ashrah being one of Quan's ex bodyguards, anyone else thinking there might be a tie in between her and Sareena. I was very skeptical about Sareena being in ever again, but now I'm thinking maybe a link in the story line...

I always thought she was involved with Sareena somehow. Ever since we knew she was a demon-slayer. Maybe the sword has something to do with Sareena, after all, she found it in Quan Chi’s place.
Maybe Sareena has turned her back on evil, for good, and Frost has this little obsession (thanks to the sword) to find and kill her.
Very interesting theories if you ask me. smile
The sword could even be Quan Chis black magic or something.

When I think of a "demon", I picture something that may be a threat to earth. One perspective on Ashrah is that she is helping the Earth Realm warriors defeat their enemies.

From seeing Ashrah and reading her story she seems like she's good. Maybe too good. She could be decieving us...
Either way sounds cool to me; I just hope Sareena's in and she's good or at least nuetral.

I really like Ashrah's story smile
But... I don't wanna sound pessimistic, but I feel like she's gonna end up dying in her ending, or end up being completely posessed, or something similar to what hapenned to FROST will happend to Ashrah...

This vaguely reminds me of Taki's story. She was also a demon hunter (Soulblade/Soul Calibur)
Her story sounds promising though smile

There's tons of demon hunters. Taki isn't even the first one.
Also, Taki is a demon hunter by choice. She was taught. Ashrah is a psycho bitch, thinking she is one step closer to saving herself by killing demons.

My thoughts exactly. She might've actually worked with Quan Chi's sexy trio: Sareena, Kia, and Jataaka at one time.

If that is so... Why does she resemble Kung Lao and Raiden so much? Do you think she was influenced by those two characters?
