For the love of God man. I am tired of Johnny sneaking around the bush. It's time for a playable demo disk. Where is it? will it come out? Midway did a demo psi ops. Why can't they do one for Deception? Give me two playable characters and one stage to play them on. I don't even care if the fatal moves are in the demo. Just give us somthing to hold us over. It's not like they don't have a demo disk sitting around some where. We played it at E3 just give us something like that. I can't believe the greed level of the MK staff. It's got to be some where like level 327. Thats damn GREEDY. Ok i have got to bounce see ya on the flip. What do you all think should we get a demo? Or do we not need one? DSB

Yeah we need the demo that was used for E3.

If u want a demo, play MK:DA. The fighting system is supposedly the same. Lol. Nah but seriously I agree a demo would be good.

AGREED! i can not stop thinking about deception. it would be nice to have something to tide us over.

I think the E3 demo would be excellent as a feature on a demo disk from a magazine like OXM or something. Perhaps Midway might release one, I'd really like to try this game out for myself and see how the fighting engine is progressing.

E-Mail them or something. If enough people do they might release a demo.
No demo. Just be patient. When your kids are waiting for Christmas time and they want Mortal Kombat 9, just tell them the story of how you had to wait from February '04 to October '04 and it was worth it in the end because your anticipation never went down because of a demo.

A demo would be fantastic!! Boon, you know I already love you, but there are a lot of doubters and naysayers out there that think that Mortal Kombat will be dethroned by the DOA's, Tekken's, and VF's of the world. Especially with competition in the 3D fighting realm of online gaming. A demo, similar to the one presented at this year's E3, might be a deciding factor for the release of Deception in the next few months. This would be a perfect plan to heighten the present hype surrounding the game, and could help with the decision making of those interested and not interested in the fighting genre.
I don't mind waiting, but I think a demo would be a smart move at this point and time, especially with all eyes and coverage on DOA:Ultimate at the moment.

Yes, we absolutely need a demo.
Start a petition or something, seriously.
I will sign it, and so will many people I know.

From the video's I saw that were taken from E3, I thought the over all fighting was faster than MK:DA. However, PSM failed to mention anything in their E3 top 10 about MK:D, EGM has bashed it, and The Official PS mag also said the fighting was still slow. So yeah, I would like a demo disc so I can see for myself. Even if it only had 2 characters and one stage. I have my copy reserved and will get it regardless, but, I still would like to see just how the fighting has changed for myself.

I agree on needing a playable demo. I'm getting bored of playing Deadly Alliance. I have to play Deception instead of all the older MK games. It's driving me insane!

I'd rather wait longer for the finished version than have something not completed.
There's no guarantee it'll have the characters I want and would probably only feature 2 if that levels.
Not enough in it to help make my decision on whether to buy it or not, which I will do anyway but I wouldn't be able to have an opinion on the game until I've played the full version so I'll just wait it out.
