Who do you think Skab is?
0
i thought that skab was drahmin because in drahmins ending it said the he changed significantly and this is significantly but then i saw drahmin in the prison so now i think it is reiko think about it reiko is from nether realm he is dead same color set up so to me there is three possibilities 1 that he is drahmin 2 that he is reiko and 3 that he is a new undead ninja wait i just thought of something he could be takeda ya know scorpion before he became the dead ninja takeda was bitten by a majical scorpion which took his soul and put the sharai ryu ninja codename scorpion's soul in his body shang tsung took his soul so maybe takeda's soul might of reposessed his earth body (scorpion isn't in takedas body any more he is a spectre aka a ghost in human form)

I wonder if it is like one of the head generals of the undead army????????

Maybe it's the original Kung Lao come back from the dead. Or maybe not. I don't know.
| VainQueur Wrote: I don't know why some of you are complaining about the name "Skab". It sounds no more stupid than "Reptile", which is a pretty generic name as well, after all. VQ |
For me, it's not the generic-ness of it. It's the tastelessness. To me the word scab has no good connotations and reminds me of congealing blood and pus. Granted, Bo Rai Cho is back so we'll have puking and farting as well.
Maybe I'm wrong and Skab ain't so bad.
In my opinon, there are 9 options:
1) Sektor - Not the red/black colour scheme for both characters. Also, we're unaware as to Sektor's human/cyborg status.
Conclusion:
HIGHLY UNLIKELY - I have a hunch that Sektor is in the game, but is still a cyborg. Also (and correct me if I'm wrong), isn;t he in charge of some army now?
2) Meat - Meat has only been featured in one game, and in my opinion, he kicked arse. I'd like to see him back with a decent storyline and with some unique moves.
Conclusion:
UNLIKELY - Meat has only been featured in one game, and was not a part of the plot at all
3) Dairou - Dairou is apparnetly knocking about in Netherealm somewhere, and was touted to be in MK:DA, but due to lack of time he wasn't included. He's supposed to be a very vicious warrior.
Conclusion:
VERY POSSIBLE - If he is an undead savage warrior, then that would give a reason for Asherah to be in the game, as she is a demon hunter.
4) Drahmin - Is said to have had his form changed significantly after falling into Quan Chi's inner sanctum.
Conclusion:
POSSIBLE - Drahmin may not have been fully changed, but the half-rotting flesh on his face indicates to me that Skab is some sort of undead warrior.
5) Moloch - After seeing what happened to Drahmin, he may have jumped into the inner sanctum to have his former self restored.
Conclusion:
HIGHLY UNLIKELY - Just doesn't seem right, having a giant Oni with an iron ball attatched to his arm being transformed into a skinny half-dead warrior.
6) Reiko - Nobody is really quite sure what happened to Reiko, he was one of Shao Kahn's minions at one stage, and then seems to have faded off into nothingness.
Conclusion:
POSSIBLE - Note the contours on skab and compare them to the markings on Reiko's face. Not also the uniforms of each character. See a resemblence?
7) Liu Kang - Was killed in the opening sequence of MK:DA (thank God for that), and for some reason everyone expects him to be back in this one.
Conclusion:
POSSIBLE - Although I certainly hope not, according to Quan Chi's ending, Liu Kang is residing in Kano's body, and this may be the new form
8) Jarek - Was killed in MK4 and hasn't been heard from since.
Conclusion:
HIGHLY UNLIKELY - Did not contribute anything to the storyline, and wasn't overly popular.
9) A Part of the Dragon King's Army - Maybe he is the new Reptile - a gopher of the Dragon King much like Reptile was a gopher of Shao Kahn.
Conclusion:
POSSIBLE

Jarek is already featured in the prison stage. So it can't be him.

I agree, anyone of the characters we've seen in that cell stage, could be playable as hidden characters.
Taz has hit the noodle on the noggin.
Enter a variety of codes at the stage, and any one of those characters could bust out and voila, a playable character.
A bit far-fetched, but with MK, you never know. Boon could have even released those images for the exact purpose of tricking us as well.

scorpion's son. =)
Scorp has a skull head and his son(possibly Skab)
has half a skullhead...
In all honesty he is just a badass ninja zombie =)
probably new.probably some old character changed.
a vaulted character(Krypt)...I always like undead warriors in fighting games...like Stygian in Cardinal Syn he had a dragon skull for a head and was a skeleton and had a human skull for one foot..his weapon was a sp]nal column with a skull on it.(in his ending he gained flesh.)
Anyway if he is scorpion's son i will be very surpried. You know how scorpion in hell can wander and bump into other dead warriors..sooo
it could be a friend of him aswell..meh.

Ermac's alt costume we've already seen so that thought is out the window. I think Skab is a brand new character Midway brought along. As previous posts said that he's probably a unknown warrior from many Mortal Kombats ago.

I have an idea, what if Skab is actually the zombie version of Lui Kang? It's just an idea and it could be possible, ya never know in the Mortal Kombat universe.
