He looks like an undead ninja from ages past. Maybe he's a resurrected unholy ninja from a long past mortal kombat tournament.

I would say he is a dead warrior from the Netherealm. He is definatley undead because half of his face is missing.

It would be funny if Skab was Meat's cousin.

They should never make reference to Meat or Mokap again. There are few characters I consider to be apocryphal, but they are definitely among them.

I think Skab is some kind of undead Native American, judging by his face paintings. Though when I saw that picture in a magazine, I first thought that was the zombie Liu Kang. I'm anxious to see the zombie and ghost Liu Kang.

Well, he may be affiliated with the Oni in some way. Also, being undead and all, it's almost definite that his alignment is evil. Therefore, he could be the nemesis of Ashra. But I don't think Ashra's bio has been decided yet.

Just some thoughts.

I was also thinking that to. Perhaps hes the third oni, or Ashrah's nemesis. Skab could also very well be a minion working for the DK.

Well you could be right, If Sareena isn't in the game (however I think she will be) then Ashrah definitely needs a reason for being in the game and she is a demon hunter, and so far Skab is the only demon looking character in Deception so it could very well be.

I also liked the idea of Ashrah and Sareena having some sort of rivalry. IMO it would be bad ass if Ashrah is here to mess Sareena up, afterall Sareena is a netherealm demon in a human form. Sareena is highly rumoured to be in MKD. Plus, i love cat fights.smile

But it does make sense for Ashrah to be going after Skab.

TUN the nemesis of Ashrah is a great idea, I hope you are right.

I don't know why some of you are complaining about the name "Skab". It sounds no more stupid than "Reptile", which is a pretty generic name as well, after all.

Anyway, my bet is that Skab is a new Oni.

Besides, did anyone notice how many (un)dead people there are in MKD (Liu Kang, Mileena, Skab, Scorpion, Hotaru (-has white eyes), Sindel...)? Possibly the DK has da mad rezurrexion skillz.

I believe its Liu Kang and will still believe so until the end of this road. His face really makes it seems like its a zombie, so I'm sticking with my hypothesis and when and if they say its Liu, I will laugh at everyone who says it wasn't. wink
