I hope for MK7 MK does away with "puzzle fighter" and "chess". If Mortal Kombat 7 should have any type of mini games it should be as big as pong in MK2, galaga in MK3 and test your might in MK1 and MK: DA and test your might. Deception for me has gone a little too far off course of Mortal Kombat.Little side modes are fine such as the stuff mention above, but not when you devote a large part of time away from the fighting .As for Konquest it is too time costly for those that just want to pla the fighting game. Sure it adds to the replay value of the game, but I just wanted MK: DA like Konquest. Deception Konquest is tedious. It was cool to find MK characters in 7 large worlds, but it was a let down that most of the incounters had nothing to do with the MK storyline. To me if it has nothing to futher the plot of MK it should be there. MK should go back to unlocking characters like MK3 and UMK3 did, with UKK. No running around in 6 large worlds waiting for the right time. To me all secrets should be buried in game fighitng such as push button kodes, or UKK codes.I like Deception choice of leting you go back and train with characters you have already train with but again It takes forever to get to one person to the next. Again I hope MK7 Konquest , if it does have one is more like MK: DA. More plot with MK characters and futher the storyline, instead of a GTA task like game like Deception's Konquest.

We'll i guess the fighting asspect of the game did suffer A LITTLE liek i've said before not enough to discredit the game. the other stuff in the game (Puzzle,Chess & msotly Konquest) are the main rreason i've been playing this game. i think it's great and i hope it dosent go anywere.

I hate the " punch a 16 button combo when character X appears behind a tree" to fight character Y...I just hate that method of unlocking things, I really like the krypt, but imo, the koffins should be more expensive, I like the concept of konquest but, it should be more like a story mode for each character, instead of an adventure mode...so I hope they continue improving konquest instead of those "win the fight against character X in the arena Y with only uppercuts to unlock whatever" type of secrets...

I don't really mind chest kombat to be honest; you can still fight in that game mode. It tests your skill at the game when you try to beat there leader with one of your grunts while playing it on HARD. lol (like I always try to do) lol

I didn't plain on mastering her, I didn't even plain on picking her as a character to play with. & if it turn out that I MUST complete the game with EVERY CHARACTER then I will put the game on easy and complete it with Ashrah. OR pick my best character (SUB-ZERO) fight my way to the boss and when I get to the dragon King change the character to Ashrah and complete the game. (STILL ON EASY) lol

For some reason, I really enjoyed Konquest. I just hope they can improve on it for MK7. Make the graphics just like you would see in the main fighting game. And you can pick what character you want to be for the missions, like Soul Calibur. So i can choose Kira and run around and hit people, like shujinko with her.

You select what you want to learn and you do it.
I only play Arcade mode or VS.
I never touch the other game modes, they just don't interest me.

should pong be like the classic pong, or should it be like a real 3D pong game or tenis?
Maybe they could just have an updated version of the classic 2D pong.
Just make it look modern and MKish. They could put in some extra stuff like power shots and stuff like that.

I would like to have a practice mode a la VF4 Evo. I mean you can practice tons of stuff... not only memorizing stuff

For the story mode, I'd like to be like a mix of the Tekken 4 and DOA story modes.
a combination of still images, real time movies before some fights and a nice ending could be stills or an FMV.
The end movie could be just 1 movie with the real ending for the game. This could be unlocked once you beat story mode with every fighter.

My thoughts for next MK...
~ If they do put Pong back in, it should have little "MK-like" things, like...
-the paddles could be bones
-the ball should be a skull that spins when you hit it
-the backgrounds should be like the backgrounds in MK (like the portal, the living forest, ect.)
-it should have 3D graphics
-like Bleed said, there should be power-shots, power-ups, ect...

And I think the fights should make sense, like, Liu Kang should never fight Kung Lao, unless they're training or something. But if they are training, a little movie before the fight should explain it. Im no stranger to the fact that the Konquest mode was not as polished as it could've been. It wasn't very rewarding either. Sure you find the characters in Konquest, but that's about it. It would've been much better if those unique items that you got, such as the headband, staff, shuriken, etc actually were keys to unlocking secrets deeper in the game.
The thing that gets me is that people bitch and moan about having to unlock characters, either through Konquest or simply finding them in the Krypt. These people have no appreciation for the work that goes into a game...they're just spoiled and want everything now, and not have to work for it. I LOVE having to seek the rest of the characters. I WANT to work to unlock the characters. I want a REASON to play the damn game...I notice the same people who bitch about having ot unlock characters are the same people who want to know every character, every fatality, every story and every possibly nook and cranny about the game long before its out.

they should add a mode where you create your character. only they make moves that are exclusive to the character you can create and you can't use other kombabtant's moves. that way you would still have a reason to use all the other characters. of course limit it so that your character can be evened out also and not over powered.
having a mode where you can watch fights would be nice also. sometimes when im bored i just like to watch fights randomly to see how the computer would do against another computer.

I think it should be revamped. The practice and trainin sessions have to go. Make qusts more worthwhile. Not like looking for some edenian pie for a soldier. what the hell is shujinko, the so-called saviour of the realm, doing searchin for pie in the midst of his quest. I feel that konquest in mkd has set the foundations for a mk rpg or action game, like lotr or samurai warriors mayybe?? imagine teamin scorp and sub together in a 3d action rpg...

Konquest mode should be all about self development. you choose your character and start out with basic moves. as you steadily progress through the character's story you gain more stuff (special moves, styles, weapons, body armor, etc...). and when you finish, your character not only has their own moves, pros, and cons, but you also get a healthy load of koins and a hidden kostume or something.

I think MKK should not be stopped. Konquest is a great idea, only not perfect yet. I like the whole free-roaming thing:
-Looking for hidden chests that contain a large variety of bonusses.
-Learning different fighting skills (although the style-branch are to difficult sometimes, mightbe a good idea to loose those forever)
-Meeting Key karacters and fighting them to unlock new secrets
I actually like the mkchess battles, it's a great variety next to the standard fighting, they have taken quite a big gamble on this to try and find something new, and i think they succeeded. A few things can be done a little better, but it's a novel idea
MK puzzle is also a great new idea, again something a liitle different besides the standard fighting. Funny caractres with huge heads duking it out. I wont play it for a hour straight but, sometimes for a couple of minutes, yeah, its fun.
But to get back on topic....NO don't stop now, Konquest is pretty fun, but needs some work, I consider this conquest "work in progress", listen to the fans Mr. Boon and keep up the good work.Maybe Konquest should have its own game. Doesn't really matter to me. I personally loved Konquest and Chess and Puzzle Kombat, but I guess we all have our own opinions. I worry about more or less who is going to be in the game, more than the game modes. I do want Test Your Might back though.
