Please don't be like the 99% of every retarded personal trainers I have ever seen. I've watched the shit they have people doing... I have also watched the body composition of the people they are training remain painfully stagnant.

There is nothing a personal trainer can tell you that you can't find out for yourself in a book or usually on the internet for free. Hell, you can test your own Body Fat % for cheaper. I can't imagine ever needing or wanting someone for that. I just can't understand it. BUT, I'm not knocking what you do MEsoFLY because I DO understand that some people do actually need it. They really do, or they will REMAIN fat/out of shape/unhealthy/whatever it is. So good luck to you, I hope you help alot of people feel better about themselves.

You don't have a DS so you don't know seriously, you might know everything about xbox and PS lag but you know jack about the DS.., and btw you CAN cause lag because I've tested it out myself...if you load a page, set it to stand by or have a webcam, something of that nature or loading or a video going it WILL indeed cause lag and slowdown.

you wi-fi is not connected to ur modem, it taps off of it, so please explain how u can create lag. its wi-fi the connection isnt that strong to begin with, ive dont the uplaod thing, ive uploaded 4 1 gig files at once, and it only brought my upload down to from 1500 to 1000, not enough to create lag. lol dotn talk about standby like u have a clue, that standby shit thatw as used in halo dont work with new modems, if u click standby is dissconects u. ive tried everything to try to make my connection on the level of u dslers. it dont work, keep thinking hes creating lag.

Your theory makes no sense what so ever....first of all a disabled kid requires assistance despite what the disability is most of the time. How do I know this? Well for one, I volunteered to help them out for my school when I used to go to H.S. as well as helped teachers...secondly, umm they went to my school so I know. One of those extra credit activities.

So, you're wrong with that last statement because believe me, since I worked with these kids at times they NEED help. There's also different kinds of disabilities...

This post is long... I apologize, but secondary education is my field so I must make my point.

@ MKF. Iceman is exactly right. You can't BS me about how the school system works. My parents are both teachers, dad is a coach, and I'm in my last year of college to become a f'ing teacher. I've already spent 20 hours in public schools TEACHING (This isn't including my 10 hrs. with the special ed. students, they came to MY school). This semester I am going to spend an extra 90+ hrs. in public schools TEACHING. In the fall I will be doing student TEACHING. When I am done with that I will be pursuing a Master degree for Administration in public schools. With that said...




In simple terms the recent "No Student Left Behind" act was theoretically designed to bring up the lower echelon of students. Good intentions and possibly a good theory, but in practice it screws up much more than it helps. You can not talk about the recent changes in public education without a fundamental knowledge of "No Student Left Behind", you just wouldn't have a foundation for what is going on. I am going to assume that you don't.

You are quoted saying that high school is not easy and anyone that claims otherwise is just ignorant, blah, blah, blah... Understand this, MKF. The standards for passing high school have got to be the same for every student in the school (Special ed. excluded... I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt that you aren't special ed.) Smart, stupid, male, or female all students must meet the same requirements in order to graduate. These established requirements can not be so hard that very few students can reach them. At the same time, they can not be so easy that it leaves school being worthless. Therefore, a curriculum and system of evaluation is established that is attainable by ALL students. By attainable, that means your less intelligent students will have to work much harder, but there is absolutely no teenager in America who could not graduate high school if they worked as hard as they could.

This leaves your more intelligent students flying through high school with ease while they are doing the same work that your less intelligent students are struggling with. So, people who flew through that stuff don't think twice about graduating high school, it was easy. You are quoted saying that high is not easy and anyone who thinks otherwise is ignorant, blah, blah... Ok, so it was hard FOR YOU and it is hard for lots of other people. It is not hard for everyone. But you did it, be f'ing proud of your hard work and how it paid off.

*But for the love of Christ, do not think for one second that because you passed a curriculum and a set of standards established with the sole intentions that EVERY student should be able to pass it makes you smart. It makes you average, you are SUPPOSED to graduate high school. Claiming that it is proof that you are smart, makes you look naive, at best. Unfortunately, it is also a prime indicator of how smart you really are.

Yeah, that's nice that you're a coach you've told me this before a few times but just so you know I used to be friends with a kid who's grandfather was at the time when I went the head of the NYC school system, so I know a thing or two as well...

I'm also WELL aware of the fact that special ed went to the same schools as everyone(except for Catholic) they don't go there, half my friends went to C. School so trust me, they send them to P.S. I also keep in touch with a ex-teacher with literally years of experience that I used to work with so believe me, I may not be up "to-par" as much as you because I'm not a teacher but if I wanted to I could find out anything I wish real fast. I just don't care to to know every little change.

And on your point concerning "No Student Left Behind" yeah...I know that, which is what's wrong with the school system now days...and personally, some teachers just look the other way to avoiding looking bad while a real teacher will pass or fail a student based on actual work.

Let me tell ya a story Omerta, just to prove this and that every teacher or "some" I won't say "every" because that's not fair, but SOME I know for a fact make up their own rules despite the corricular system.

I had this math teacher once, busted my ass, did my homework, participated and made an effort as well as never once cut or gave her trouble the problem? I did 50/50 on quizes which were every friday....


Passed some and failed some, did everything else correctly but the bitch failed me one term
( which I made up easily with an alternate math course one year instead of going home early or I'd have to go to summer school)

But the point is this, there were kids in that class that cut EVERY day, caused trouble and never did their homework but would show up on fridays, pass and got passed? can you say fucking joke? lol hell even most of the school used to talk about which teacher "abused" their power and made up retarded rules despite the rules of the school/educational system. Not to mention all she did was read math book page 41 and do this blah, blah..it's not like she actually went to the board often and taught the class like you're supposed to...

So, teachers like this I have 0 respect for honestly...

Now, another case of where I SHOULD have failed but didn't because the teacher liked me and saw that I made an effort and busted my ass this one year, one term. I did about 50/50 with friday quizes, and had trouble with this guys tests...but did everything else right. But I knew I was failing this one course, so what happened was this. Since he saw my effort which others lacked in the class and he knew that I understood the topic just had some trouble with certain tests at times, and just about everyone just barely passed or failed the finals for this guy....

He passed me with a 65 which was doing me a big favor, he even told me listen I know you're struggling with the tests but do well with everything else and do well in lab and participate and get answers correct during class...but at the same time you're making a huge effort, which others here clearly aren't and don't care but you do. For this I'm passing you.

Now, those are two situations that prove not only that a teacher can be a moron but also how a teacher can be objective at the same time.

Like I said now, I used to work with a teacher in one of my last 3 jobs. And english teacher for 15+ years retired and we used to chat all the time about school etc. She said herself that the schools system now is messed up but improving, and teachers are supposed to follow a standard of rules...some do it, others don't and do whatever the fuck they want...the corrupted teachers as we called it and don't deserve to be a teacher.

Now, there's also BAD student's as well which I definitely don't deny. God knows I had to live thru and go to some messed up classes with the kids at times thru out the years when I went to school years ago.

Since you're going to be a teacher Omerta, you of all people should know that disabled kids or Special Ed NEED WAY more help in school compared to a regular academic student. Like I said, I'm no teacher and don't have all the current changes of the curricular system memorized like you do but I did used to work with them for extra credit as well helping out teachers....believe me, the kids that went to my school ALL needed help whether mentally or physically.
