Also I wound up going to Dorney Park today despite some sunshowers and lightning. They shut down the rides when the lightning came, I have no idea how you would have managed to have a good time in rain. I guess you had no lightning, Jaded_Reign. Also, damn people in Pennsylvania are surprisingly more attractive than people in NYC, atleast today.

Nope, didn't have any lightning on last year's trip. Just TORRENTS of rain. I would've been really fucked if there was lightning. It rained while I was in the water park, so it just added to the fun, in my opinion. But yeah, if you're in the dry side of the park, it probably would have sucked big time.
