Some people just ruin MK for me. I'm done playin it for now. I'll be too busy playing Oblivion and waiting for Skyrim. And yes, I'm going to a Skyrim party. 4 Skyrims going on at the same time. 2 Xbox, 1 PS3 (I'm playing this one) and one PC. Fueled by The Nine and Pizza and lots of soda and brownies. Tomorrow is my 2 year anniversary with my boyfriend. We cannot see each other at all. But we're doing something really cute that others seem to think and we're recalling what we did from Halloween to the second of November two years ago. And it's a really funny story of how everything went down.

I have to wait until Saturday to fully appreciate our anniversary.

At Rocky Horror the other night, I met a lovely couple dressed as UMK3 Sub-Zero and Movie (I`m guessing, since she was wearing leggings) Kitana.

Now, as classic Joker, I had one of the best costumes around. But I was still just. So. Jealous.

I was talking to this guy and he said I was one of his favourite straight people, and I'm just like, why. Why do you guys always have to define everybody by their sexuality. I have way too many friends who allow their sexuality to overpower their character. For me, it shouldn't be the number one adjective you choose for defining someone, it should just be one of the many characteristics that make a person up. But to each his own, freedom on speech. I can only assume that maybe in a world where homosexuality isn't as accepted as it should be, that some people take initiative in announcing how proud they are of their own sexuality until hopefully one day when it really won't matter.

Was playing LoZ; Majora's Mask yesterday.
I forgot how hard that game could get.

Took me nearly six tries to get the Mask of Scents (following that Deku butler guy as he goes flying through a dark cave), and I broke the analog stick on one of my N64 controllers (as I was pushing it so hard the whole time.) Even with the Bunny Hood, it was difficult.

Odolwa took over 6 minutes to beat. Killed him finally by launching out of a Deku flower.
However, at the moment, I'm stuck in Snowhead, searching feverishly for a small key.
On a more positive note, Majora's Mask has some incredible music I had nearly forgotten.
It's a shame that many people seem to think OoT is better than this game.

It's not just sexual preference either. This still occurs in race and even gender. It will likely be this way for quite some time too, and not just because of simple bigotry. Even the youngest of children begin to realize differences between them and their peers. In our culture, we tend to emphasize that everyone is unique, everyone is special. Which is good, in it's own right. However, we take notice of these differences between us and others, and try to define people based on those differences. Gossiping teenage girls? Bullshit media rumors that nobody really cares about? There you go. This sort of reminds me of this interview with Morgan Freeman. Say what you will about his views on black history month, but he has a valid point IMO. The best way to end biased views on race, gender, and sexual preference is to stop making such a big deal out of them. Stop regarding them, because in the end it doesn't really matter. We're all people.

Wow, this has never happened in my city, and I've lived here all 24 years of my life. Someone was actually giving kids in my town candy with razorblades in it. I've heard about how this always happens every year in various cities, but there's never been an instance of it reported here. Here's the news story:
