I'm not sure if this name is Finnish or Swedish(though their is a Swedish politician with this name and Finalnd and Sweden have a rich history interconnected with each other), but I'd like to clarify whether I have the proper pronunciation down as I've named one of my characters Torkild, I haven't been able to find any pronunciation tools to assist me, so any help would be appreciated.

My guess on the pronunciation of Torkild is-- Tore-Killed.

It's probably dead wrong, the proper pronunciation would be greatly appreciated from anyone knowledgable on the subject.

I would ask around at my college; however, we have German, Spanish, French, Arabic, Chinese, and I believe Japanese, but no Swedish or Finnish, but yeah, thanks

My girlfriend is confused about her feelings because she feels as if she doesn't treat me well. She feels as if she doesn't make me a priority All the time. I told her how she has a life and she doesn't have to cancel all other plans for me but she feels like she treats me bad because of that.

She isn't saying "I love you" because she is confused and doesn't want to lead me on (which I don't get how it is leading me on since I KNOW she is confused already).


I want to marry her one day. She is everything I could ever ask for and more... She is perfect. I just wish she didn't feel like she treats me bad when in actuality she doesn't.

Thinking of changing my username/account on here. I don't even listen to rap music at all anymore, so my current name doesn't really suit me anymore. For the past two years or so I've been making all my sigs say the same name I use on other websites "Siklootd" and am contemplating changing my name on here to that too. Will probably email a mod about it later, I know we're allowed one name change on the site, and I've had this same name since I first came on years ago. Thinking it might be time for a change.
