I am currently watching the Human Centipede: Full Sequence.

As sick as it sounds, I enjoyed watching that movie.

I don't care if there was little to no dialogue, I don't care if the actors aren't anything amazing... The movie was made to gross people out and create a gory and disgusting atmosphere, not be a scripted master piece through conversations between characters or an in depth story. It did what it was meant to do, and it did it well.

What a disgusting idea for a film. I couldn't care less if its goal is to shock people, but for a premise, it's ridiculous, it's silly, it's nasty, and I have no intention of ever watching a film with a concept that nasty. It's movies like that that make me glad I have some standards when it comes to the shitty movies I've done in my life...

I never really look forward to this day, because I never eat Turkey. I just don't like the taste of it for some reason and all I'm left to eat is the little side dishes. I've tried to like it every year, but I just can't seem to enjoy the taste. Same goes for Christmas when we make the ham. Just can't eat it for some unknown reason so I have to find my own thing to eat during the holidays.

I couldn't stand Human Centipede. It really didn't even gross me out so much, thanks to the internet. I just thought it was a waste of time. Also, a movie can be fucked up with a great plot. Take Martyrs, for example. Justifying its lack of intention to be well made just seems silly. They should have made it a short film if anything else. (10-30 mins) It would have been much more significant that way, and much less played out.

Grossing out the average person is an easy task, and making a full length, god awful film for the sake of grossing people out just seems like an excuse to make money more than convey a message or emotional reaction. Maybe I'm being a killjoy, but that movie seemed like a scam. The centipede grossout died after the first 5 minutes and became a bit redundant.

Hey, what am I saying though. Most movies seem like scams more than art now days. Who wants to watch Saw Eleventy four?

I'm the same way. I don't like turkey and I eat lots of sides. I wish we ate Mac and Cheese on the holidays. That's a side I'd enjoy.



I thought that the Human Centipede First Sequence was boring and a waste of time as well, but I thought that the Human Centipede Full Sequence was a much better movie. Not that it was particularly well made, but I thought it improved upon the original in many ways.

The biggest flaw with the first movie was that after the three people were attached, the movie had nowhere to go. At least with the sequel, there's still a movie unfolding after the twelve people are attached.

You're right though, if your definition of a scam is a product made with the intention of acquiring a profit, then yeah, most movies are scams because most movies are made with the intention of making a profit.

Also, I'd watch Saw 8. Not because I'm particularly enamored by useless gory movies, but because the Saw series has a fun to follow story line that nearly every opponent of the franchise neglects to mention, because they're not even watching the movies as they progress.
