Why? A couple added Rocket battles, all 3 starters plus an OP Pikachu? Other than that it's the same game.

LIES! You could get a low-level Machamp for a Cubone without having to hook up another GB! Also, you get all the starters anyway, and if you have Pokemon Stadium, you can teach Pikachu how to Surf for a fun mini-game and a really cool, strong move. Plus, if you trade it to GSC or use it in Stadium 2, it'll have Light Ball, doubling its Special Attack!

My dad's a bloody eejit! He was "fixing up the house" by adding in a new window to the kitchen and the plonker didn't seal the wall properly. Now we've had to lay down Rat Traps because my mam can hear scratching sounds in the kitchen. Rat sightings have been really common the last few winters here on my street in Dublin ever since they built those new high rise apartments at the end of my road. She's terrified of Rats and refuses to go to sleep in case they crawl on her in bed (even though I imagine that'd never happen).
Even now im sleeping with a lamp shining on me and my bedroom light on. I read that they've very bad eyesight which is sensitive to light, so I figure if I keep the room bright they'll go away. I might use this as an opportunity to get a cat, I've always wanted one but now that the neighbours are all calling in Pest Control my mam's considering getting a cat to scare them off. Eugh, rats! Anybody ever have to deal with them before?

I love this entire post. Not because of your rat problem, sorry to hear that. Best of luck to you.
I just love seeing the different insults from other countries.

Not Lies. I don't want a pikachu and I know "I don't have to use my starter" but I would rather start the game with one of the other 3 instead of having to get them throughout the game.
Also, the whole way Gary's Eevee evolves is dumb too. It's all based on which battles you win and lose against him. Since I never lose to Gary when I battle him, I always end up seeing his Eevee become a Jolteon. I never feel like passing up or losing the Route 22 Battle so I never get any of the other results.
Plus the fact that Electabuzz, Magmar, Jynx, and Raichu (among others but these are the only ones that actually matter to me) are unobtainable without trading is nonsense. I know that you can only get Electabuzz in Red but in Yellow they should have just made it so you could catch everything.
Pikachu being able to learn Surf is nice and all but as I said, I don't really like using Pikacu due to there being a ton of better Pokemon so if I need something to know surf, I will teach it to one of the many awesome water Pokemon that are available.
It makes as much sense as using an action replay to teach a metapod Fire Blast.
And yea you can catch a Farfetch'd and Lickitung in the wild in this game only (could only trade for them in Red & Blue)..... But who the fuck wants a Farfetch'd??? I would get one for completing the Pokedex but I would either keep it in the PC for all of eternity or just release it after getting the data from it. Lickitung is cool once it evolves into Lickilicky but that isn't until Gen IV.

I hated the fact that you couldn't put Pikachu in the storage boxes. He HAD to be with you at all times, and he couldn't even evolve. I like Red version a whole lot more.

My favourite play through of Yellow was when I traded my Pikachu for a low level Ekans right at the very beginning of the game. That was a bitchin' Arbok.

That's another thing though. If you get rid of your Original Pikachu and get a new one.... The new one acts like the old one (it follows you and can't evolve). so you basically need 2 Pikachu's if you want to evolve one.
EDIT: forgot to mention that this applies for if you cheat to get it and are technically the OT (original Trainer). It recognizes any pikachu that you are the OT for as the starter.

Bulbasaur is the easiest to level up and is basically the easiest to play through the game with.
Charmander is cool but way too overrated in my opinion. I hate how everyone likes Charizard for his looks. I personally hate Charizard.
Squirtle is who I usually go with because well....... Blastoise is fucking awesome.

To this day Blastoise remains my all time favorite Pokemon ever. He's just such a badass motherfucker, lol. He's a giant turtle with guns on his shoulders and he's huge. I always picked Squirtle because I had to have Blastoise. My favorite Pokemon came from a wide range of types. Some of my favorites are:
1. Blastoise
2. Scizor
3. Scyther
4. Banette
5. Nidoking
6. Golem
7. Arcanine
8. Ninetails
9. Pidgeot
10. Gyarados
11. Golduck
12. Sandslash
13. Zapdos
I haven't played Pokemon in years, the last one I played was Ruby but I played Pokemon Blue, Red and Yellow for years, I used to use the "clone" method to duplicate Pokemon on my games. If you would turn off the gameboy that was sending a Pokemon during a trade right after the other person would receive them, the Pokemon would be duplicated. I used to do that to get myself an Arcanine and Ninetails on both Red and Blue without having to recapture them.
I never really used that many lightning Pokemon though, the only one I liked was Zapdos.

Oh I could give you a list of Dublin Slang/ insults from the get go!
Spa/Sap: Someone who is incredibly stupid or dim
Muppet/Eejit: A fool (plonker is a word from the british comedy Only Fools and Horses but it implys the same thing)
Scanger: A low life/thug
Poxbottle: An arsehole
Bleedin: An emphasis to the next word (e.g "He's a bleedin dope")
Anima / Savagel: When something is brilliant (e.g "that's Savage" or "We went to the club and it was bleedin animal!")
Bollix: Someone who is purposely rude, but is also another word for your arse. Can also be used to describe something you don't like ("Ah it's a load of bollix", or "go and ask me bollix")
Dry Shite: Someone who is boring
Earwig: Someone who attempts to overhear a conversation
Gee: A word to describe a vagina, can also be used to describe things you don't like e.g "It's a load of Gee"
Geebag: A very offensive word to call a woman, it suggests she's worse than being a c*nt.
Gee eyed: To be extremely drunk
Lash: Someone who is attractive (e.g "She's a lash!"), if you say "On the lash" it means your out on the piss (out on the piss being out binge drinking)
Ride/ Massive: In Dublin it means someone's incredibly sexually attractive. Ride is more commonly used but massive is used a lot by girls in the inner city to describe boys they fancy.

Either false on your part or the count is messed up. I have been cruising this site pretty much all day (Consistently for the past few hours)
The counter sometimes says you're offline even if you're online.
Oh and I went and saw Breaking Dawn tonight, a very messy film if you ask me in the gross way. It was better than I thought though it has to be my least favorite of the series.
Eclipse is the best. Alice is my favorite, I love her, she's so weird and quirky and she's a super graceful fighter. Alice >Bella.

i got my kokuto chojin today for my x-box. i have to say it's alright for the fighting but the graphics and music are very well done on the original x-box.
i already beat story mode once and unlocked a second style for a fighter. overall it was worth the under $10:00 purchase. it was brand new in wrapping plastic.
anyone listening to korn's narsasstic cannibal. iv'e been listening to this song like crazy.
