That's how Armor King talks. Yet Marduk actually understands him.

I have to go take an online test.......fudge.
Love using Raiden, Kabal, Sektor, Liu Kang, Quan Chi, and Skarlet. Dropped Kitana for the better ninja. (Mains= Raiden, Kabal, Skarlet.)
Hate using Sheeva, Stryker, Kano, Baraka, Kratos, and Jade. OH, and Noob.
And Sindel is one of the few characters that aren't bosses that I hate to fight against.

I always only play as characters that I like. I don't care about tier's either I just play as which characters I think are cool. So for me that's Sektor, Cyrax, Noob, Cyber Sub-zero, Mileena, Jax and Kitana with the three cyborgs being my absolute favorites. I love the cyborgs, always have and always will, they just look cool to me. I gave Smoke a chance on this game because I loved him as a cyborg but I can't stand his design now so I don't use him. I could care less about whether or not he's a good character because I don't like looking at him.

I don't really personally either, I think any character can win and do well + if you're not playing characters you actually like, what's the point? There's a lot of people who play characters exclusivley because of tier positioning, there's no passion for their character of choice, kind of disappointing. It's nice to see some tournament players stick with characters they actually like, regardless of tier position.
The only benefit I find from tier discussions is finding out the strengths and weaknesses of a character, how they deal with their opponents, but I take tier lists with a grain of salt as I'm a firm believer in the view that any character can win, no matter what.
As for those that have lost their appeal, you gotta go with who you like, sometimes we just outgrow characters, I outgrew Ermac, a former well liked character, I haven't used him since like...May or June in this game.

I've never paid attention to tier lists, I just play with my favourites. That consists of about 5 characters in MK9; Kenshi, Cyrax, Stryker, Cage and Quan Chi. I wish I could get into to some of the others, but a lot of the characters I used to enjoy playing have lost their appeal for one reason or another.

Thank God I like most of the characters in this game.
I once played an amazing Sheeva player, this guy's Sheeva rushed me down good, caught me by surprise, and I lost. Don't remember his PSN username.
In the first few months of me playing MK9, I picked up Cyber Sub-Zero as my main. I did decent with him, until I wasn't doing so good anymore, so I dropped him for some new characters.
*Forward in time to the present* Now I have improved greatly in the art of Mortal Kombat, I picked up and learned many characters. Characters constantly changing in how good I am with them (if you've payed good attention to my sig, you'd see that the positions of characters change frequently). Just a couple of days ago, I decided to pick up Cyber Sub-Zero again, and with my increased Kombat knowledge I was greatly improved than how I used to be with him back then. It feels pretty good to be back with Cyber Subbie after several months. Johnny Cage is also really high up after being absent from my sig for quite a while.
I like Shang Tsung the most, probably cause of his ability to morph, ever since UMK3. I stopped liking him much after MK: Deadly Alliance. Though I'm dissapointed the player controlled Shang Tsung in MK9 can only morph into his opponent, it is still morphing (with a damage boost!), and that's good enough for me.
(What the ****, shouldn't we be having this discussion in the Gameplay and Matchmaking forum?)
Wasn't at work today due to an appointment. Got on facebook to find out 15 of my coworkers, some of them good friends, got laid off. Wondering what tomorrow will bring; really wouldn't be surprised if there's more to come.

In all fairness, video games in headphones. Except Ninja Gaiden 2. Some effects are very Lo Fi.

It works like: "How in hell did you figure that out?!", and other similar ridiculous phrases.

Reason why I love the Shawshank Redemption so much is because my favorite kind of justice is dispensed at the end: poetic justice.
