Exactly when are these updates coming? This website is practically dead right now compared to other MK forums.

True, this site does not have the same level of traffic as other MK sites at all. I do like coming here for the community though, I like a lot of the users here. It just does get annoying sometimes that the traffic is low. Within the last two months alone, there's been probably 5 instances where I was the only user online, something that I've actually never encountered anywhere else. I keep coming back though because of the users here. A lot of the users are pretty cool, and I usually hate most online forums due to the community, don't have that problem here though. I'd say that about 80% of users here are really chill people, while on other forums I visit it's usually the other way around and 80% of users are usually total assholes. The day this forum loses all the responsible and reasonable users and becomes overrun by stereotypical online users would be the day I don't come back. I don't see that happening though. I do hope to see improved traffic, and maybe an update would provide such an event to occur. Until then, I'll just keep coming back, and enjoying MKO for what it is right now.

We won't want to go into any great detail about plans or things being worked on, but speaking casually, I'd just encourage everyone to keep that enthusiasm and try to engage the little things. The decline that's happened necessitates a certain amount of rebuilding and we want the foundation of that to be solid, fundamental stuff. Stuff that hopefully everyone can find ways to engage with, together.

Right now you can: throw your name in the MKO Kombat Fight League; join the MKO Matchmaking Index; enter kompetitions; discuss current tournaments; follow the Road to Evo; join the conversations that are happening in the other MKO forums, and keep chatting here.

Yes, other things are in the pipeline, but lets not forget what's already here.

MKO may be slow right now, but Mortal Kombat is kinda in the off season at the moment, but I garuntee when MK10 announces it's going to be back into the large numbers of users on here.

But until that happens I'm on here all the time for conversation with the community, because as said above the users on here are awesome compared to other sites.

It shouldn't be in the off season though. The game was released like 9 months ago. Is this going to happen everytime a new MK game is released? 3 months of playing and then begging for a new one?
