The guy was a dick. There was no need for him to be all upset about waiting for one more turn. If it was a longer wait for them, I'd understand, but the next cart was coming in right behind us, so they would have gotten on immediately if they didn't decide that they HAD to leave.

Although, you're like the fifth person that's told me that something reminded them about a show they watch. Last few times, I've talked about my encounters of inanimate objects that I deal with at work, and people say that what I described reminded them of a particular office show.

Hmm... I like reminding people of things they've seen. Feels good!

As someone from Chicago, I'll say this: I love the city at times, but there are times when the people from Chicago and the suburbs can be absolutely terrible, inconsiderate, uncaring pieces of garbage.

I mean, clearly anyone that says "Fuck the medical users" clearly needs to be punched in the crotch by everyone else in line as they cut in front of him. I'm actually kind of surprised that no one else said anything to the guy like "yeah douchebag, we all paid a ridiculous amount to be here, you're not special. Wait in line like the rest of us you tool."

Either way, I've only been to Great America a few time. I actually had to ride on the Viper without the harness secure because for some reason, it wouldn't latch and I didn't realize it until after the ride started. I basically had to hang on for dear life. At least it's not a ride that loops!

Anyways, I hope that you and your boyfriend had a great time and that one piece of human garbage didn't ruin the rest of his day!

Haha, the only problem is that we kinda got in for free because we bought the Thrill Pass, but we still paid a lot to get that. However, I will agree with you that yes, people like that should definitely not feel like the world is all about them. I would have said something, but I was already in the ride and I don't like causing scenes.

Though, you're the second person that talked about having the harness not working properly. I know someone who had an issue with Raging Bull. That can't be fun and I can't imagine how life threatening and scary that must have felt with no harness protecting. And thank goodness you didn't have to deal with loops!
