I would love to see if anyone has a well thought out reason why they believe dubstep is bad. Let the games begin.

That is why I say "Personal opinion is personal", because no matter what anyone has to say about anything in music, it is all just opinion based and can be countered with other opinions.

If someone thinks dubstep is bad, then that is their opinion. But it will never become factual. So no matter what the arguements would be about it, in the end it doesn't really matter. What matters is your own opinion.

I like dubstep. And no matter how many people will try and convince me that it is bad, my opinion will stay the same.

I am not saying that it is a fact that it is good, I understand it is completely an opinion but I want to know a valid good reason as to why someone has the opinion that it is bad. Not a reason like "transformer sex". An actual reason that has some sort of intelligence behind it.

I don't truly dislike dubstep. There are just some peoples versions of dubstep which I hate. I'll give you some examples.

No, just hiphop in general. I literally can't stand it. Any of it. Haven't heard a single track of hiphop I liked. It just doesn't fit my taste in music.

I only listen to a few hip hop artists. Check out:

Atmosphere
Canibus
Skrapz
Level Jumpers
Eyedea

Those are some great rappers who use great accompanying music with a soulful sound to it rather than the stupid shitty music rappers usually use to accompany their shitty raps. My main taste in music lies in Metalcore and Deathcore (I don't care if people hate the genres)

Listen to any song in the world. Then listen to the dubstep track that covers it. You'll see what I mean.

just finshed playing some tekken 6. i forgot how much fun it was. went up a few ranks with raven,lili,zafina,yoshimitsu, hworang. bought few items and customised some characters.

got to get up 7:00 in the morning to go to work.

Personally I dont care for dubstep.

Most songs follow some kind barred format like 32-bar or 16-bar format. There is also a beat throughout the song that helps to keep the melody in check and gives the overall piece harmony. When I listen to dubstep I feel like it is completely chaotic. It barges in with a bass drop every two seconds, followed by an ear screeching sound that I dont enjoy at all. I know some dubstep songs follow some sort of song format, I dont find those extremely bad. I also know other genres of music that stray away from a format and I enjoy them, I just dont have a taste for dubstep.

Also, a lot of dubstep sounds weird in a car stereo system. I have an aftermarket kenwood stereo with two 12" subwoofers in custom built boxes and a bazooka amp. Dupstep seems to make the bass vary in a weird way that I dont enjoy. If I had tweets it would prob sound better.

In all reality, I dont like dubstep. Just my personal taste in music.
