Scars on Broadway
Stevie Ray Vaughn
The Rolling Stones
ZZ Top
Black Sabbath
Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Alesana

That right there should give you an idea in the diversity of rock I listen to.

Okay. Lights by Ellie Goulding for example. An indie pop song. Then we look at Lights (Bassnectar Remix). I don't see the issue.

By :28 I began hearing much unneeded bass.

By 1:21 that bass became the sometimes rhythmic noise.

The original song sounds okay. Not really my thing, but it's cool.

Seriously if people think all rap is the same, check out these guys:

Level Jumpers "Obey Your Thirst"

Level Jumpers "Telekinetic"

Skrapz "Just Alright"

McNastee "Typical Love Song"

Great rappers, these guys are more soulful, hell they don't even cuss as much as your average rapper, making the music that much more enjoyable.

I enjoy dubstep but that's only because every time I would get high my friends would put it on. I had to get used to it. That's actually how I started liking a lot of music.

Got those downloaded. I couldn't tell you my favorite songs of them. I certainly do like Innervision and Thetawaves. Great songs.

I actually enjoy dubstep, getting back on that oldish topic. There is no melody, bringing upon it a unique mixture of music, randomosity, and math in which I can revel in it's oddity. Dubstep is such a mixture of high and low, it just soothes me with the un-natural movement of the tune.
