Today, July 4th, is the most important day ever in North American history! Why? Because...
1. I finished my summer courses today.
2. Did super well on my final.
3. Submitted another fanfic that needs to be approved!
There's also some kind of festivity going on in the States concerning something that happened a few years ago, but that's pretty minor stuff considering I'm more important and the world revolves around me.

The song is about music, something beautiful that is used for good being used for evil, to kill. A weapon to be exploited by militaries. At the time this song was written, there probably wasn't any factual basis and was just Kate Bush thinking of how something so pure could be distorted into something so corrupt. However, it has recently been discovered that sonar used by the military has been killing thousands of whales around the world. The thought of sound being used as a weapon is very frightening, to me.
