Just popped in to say 'see ya later', so to speak (as I abhor vanity topics).
For those who know or remember me, you may have noticed that I've barely made four posts in as many months...truth is, I'm going through something of a transitional period at the moment (moving out, etc). It also helps that MKA left a godawful taste in my mouth, to the point where I considered selling off my games. But a fan I remain, and as such I'll keep coming back.
Right now I think I'll just take some time away from the gaming world and scene in general. To all and sundryhere and on the chat...I'll see you folks for MK8. Until then, Shadaloo signing off!

Take care, bro! Hopefully we'll see you soon.

Libertad is Velvet Revolvers equivilant to The Spaggetti Incident...only it's the bands original crap in stead of crappy covers....

Velvet Revolver is more GNR than GNR is, now. Just without an egotistical, homophobic, racist, prick that sounds like a dying frog for a frontman.

I never said GNR was GNR anymore, i just pointed out the fact that Libertad is VR's Spagetti incident....
Alos, yeah, a crak-head, anorexic, sucky singer is a BIG step up from a "Homophobe" (Who sang with ELTON JOHN, and cited FREDDIE MERCURY as an influence) "racist" "prick" that sounds like a "Dying Frog"....
While i disagree with all your side of the argument...as i'm sure you disagree with mine....you have to admit that it will take many more years before Velvet revolver attains the status that GNR has in teh rock world right now....
Will there be a 20th annaversery of "Contraband" or "Libertad" on the cover of Rolling Stones? i doubt it.....POINT MADE!

Scott has been clean for 3 years. He can actually sing well live, 99% of the time, unlike Axl, who can hardly even sing in the studio anymore. And if you're going to judge him for being skinny, why not Axl for being a "fat, botox-faced, wig wearing fuck"? Rather pointless.
And yeah, of course I agree with that last part. The music business is completely different from the way it was 20 years ago. In 20 years, nobody will even know what albums are.
Also, look at this, and then look at this. Scott can do it better than on the album, Axl can't do anything.

I havend done math in ages, but here it goes.
For the numerotor:
-5-8= -13
-6 squared= -6 times -6= 36
therefore, -13 times 36= -468
For the denominator:
-1-4=-5
numerotor divided by denominator= -468/-5 = 93.6

the -6 squaed would come out -36 instead. They are in paranthesis so yeah. your answer would be negative

from my understanding, when you multiple a negative number to another negative number, it always become positive. When you 're doing a square of a number, you're essentially mutiplying the number to its self.
negative times negative always becomes positive.
Can a 7th grader confirm this? It's been ages since I've done math I'm afraid to admit. I exempted math in college. *post edited*

We actually are doing this now in Advanced Math. We have a quiz monday.

Edited
(-5-8) = -13
-13x-62 = -468
Then...
-1-4 = -5
Therefore...
-468 divided by -5 = 93.6
so I think the answer is 93.6 or you can leave it in fraction form: 468/5
I think that's the answer.

guys, -6 squared is positive 36, I'm pretty sure.
the final answer can't be negative.

It is a positive, if you square a negative, you're multiplying the negative with itself.
And, - x - = +.
So, -6 x -6= 36.
So, KingJolly is right about the positive part.
I wouldn't know much for the other part of it though, I have yet to calculate that...

a negative times a negative is a positive, but if they are in parenthesis, you ignore the sign for a sec while you square the number, then you attach the sign. If it was this: (-6)squared, then it would be positive, but since they are both in the parentheses, you would ignore the sign until you finsih the squaring process. Also, if you have the number out of parenthisis, you would ignroe the sign until the process is finished.
I know this stuff

It's gotta be 36. Negative X a Negative is a +. I can't believe there are this many posts about a math problem.

When 2 negatives are multiplied, the product is always positive. I think the same applies to division. It's been over 2 years since I graduated. One of the greatest moments in my life.

Well, my answer was negative, because I divided by a negative.

It doesnt matter. Negative divided by negative is positive. However, positive divided by negative or vice versa is negative . You messed up with the -6^2 calculation.
