Doom 3 wasn't the run and gun doom that was past gold either. If doom 4 is a modernized clone of Doom 2 with modern features and proper interactivity. I'd play it for decades.

There are suggestions that, like Doom 2, it will take place on Earth, and will feature gameplay more akin to the original Doom games rather than the horror styled gameplay of Doom 3.

It was up for only a few minutes, due to a massive photobucket error on my part. So a few users got an eyeful

If it's any consolation, guys, there are countless of photos of women's boobs elsewhere on the internet. In fact, there's an entire industry whose sole purpose is to deliver pictures of boobs (and other naughty bits) to lonely men who would adore them, and it has quite a prominent presence here on the internet. Just go to Google, type in "show me teh bewbeez!!1" and see what happens.
Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
Probably nothing.

Well I just finished it. Second half of the game wasn't all that bad.
I give it a 70.

that's the version i have as well.
anyone with the 360 version of the game, how does it play? i've heard some negative things about this version
Heh, McGee's Alice was one of my other disappointments.
I just somehow cannot be bothered with mental Alice, in a game what is the unholy mixture of Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas, and Escher painting, Dr. Caligari with the lights turned on and paint thrown across everything. But most unforgiving was the repetition.
Not that it is any worse than Duke, far from it.
Are we doomed to space marines, rugged nondescript action hero militia men and supersoldiers for all eternity?
What happened to ressurected undead gunslingers, oriental mishmash parodying ninjas with automatted rocket launchers, rednecks in pursuit of aliens kidnapping their pig, physicists starting revolutions in a 1984-style conquered Earth?
...the FPS genre is mostly dead anyways.

The begining of this game was fun other then that the game slowly gets worse and worse and it lose it's charm. Also the final boss was to easy.
Really disappointed with the game.

I'm actually wondering if the SDK for DNF has been released.

I decided to give in and just play the game in low-medium graphics settings.
I enjoyed the game. Not sure why critics are hating on this game so much. It's what I expected it to be.
it's a 7/10 for me.

Incidentally the rights to Earthworm Jim are still owned by Thor people who made the last one. The N64 one. So think yourself lucky we haven't had any more sequels.
The truth(?):
The real problem in the reception is the criticsphere itself. The very same people who gave four or five stars figuratively speaking to the demo (which consisted of the intro, the most characteristic parts of the game, especially the vehicle section which is the worst of the game itself) pull the game down on halfhearted reasons.
Reasons which were given as positive characteristics of the demo. Truth be told, all mainstream critics site in the past three years turned out to be untrustworthy. Gamespot, well, Gamespot is what it is, to put it mildly.
The real problem however is that this game is mediocre at best, and that it is originally a PC coded game. And the console ports are inferior to the PC version (which is mediocre by itself). The end result was something that is passable for a b rief time as a one shot gaming experience, however, they pulled a Daikatana with this one.
Duke Nukem is simply a brand that cannot settle for such quality. On the other hand, DNF WAS the quintessential game that WOULD underwhelm.
After six successful installments this giga promise fizzled out, which is a HUGE disappointment, however the franchise had so far only good games. No Duke Nukem game ever went below above average.
If one franchise that, um, deserves another chance it is DNF imo, and I have repeated myself too much.
Remake Blood or Shadow Warrior. Hell, even Redneck Rampage would be sheer out awesome.

Interplay? they're gone now, hanging on by their nails with the fallout MMO. then again earthworm jim 4 seems like old news coming from them. that's all I can get out of wikipedia.
As for duke, Chrome is right. its plenty of duke for a run through, and I expected it to be a turd burger but in the end it was worth the run through.
