But in all seriousness, I have a lot of respect for the gay community, both here and elsewhere. I support your right to get married and to have equal rights. Keep fighting the good fight, guys and gals.

I did question this thread, and for a reason. The armpit hair in the other hand (and arm) is free for all, including you, not depending on any backgrounds of the users. That doesn't necessarily discriminate anything. I did have something to "say" because my posts aren't blank either lol.

It wasn't meant to be discriminative. As said, I had good intentions making this thread and I don't mind people who aren't gay or whatever writing in this thread. People made some good responses, and then there are those who made rather pointless and mocking posts... Like yours.

All in all, I was just being nostalgic and thought it was really cool back at the old "Gay MK" thread, but I guess it was a mistake to try and relive those moments, because apparently, it is discriminative to do so.

Look. I'll actually contribute something useful in here. I'm straight. There's a lot of gay users here. I don't categorize people based on who they're attracted to. I love my gay friends. I love my straight friends. However, making a thread exclusively for homosexuals to share their opinions with each other from a so called homosexual perspective? That's blatant discrimination, regardless if it was intended or not. If homosexuals want to be treated like everyone else, then they can join everyone else with what they're doing. I don't see a difference between us because of who you want to be with.

The point of this site is for MK fans to get together, regardless of social category, and share a passion for this game. How would making a thread for our gay users contribute anything different? Also, to blatantly say straight people shouldn't post in here? Man, you're killing your own cause.

I see this community, and this world, as a place where we should live together as equals without having to create exclusive cliques to talk about something that anyone can talk about. The only reasonable explanation of any unique qualities this thread could offer away from the rest of the site is to maybe talk about how big Johnn'y Cage's johnson is, and frankly, that's ridiculous.

Your intentions don't seem like good intentions. You wanted to make a thread for a "certain group of people" and then you got upset when "half of the people in this thread have nothing to do with the main topic." You're mad that you people don't like your discriminatory nature? The armpit hair thread might be unnecessary and meaningless too, but at least the original poster isn't trying to keep your opinion out of it based on your sexual orientation.

I look at it a bit different, at each person on an individual basis. Not so much support, but humane respect and equality. I am who I am and the idea of anybody else's beliefs governing my morals or life decisions is a filthy thought.

I have the right to live the life I want to live. Who would I be to ever oppose somebody else's freedom to have the same choices and freedoms? Respect everybody and their passions, expect that same respect back. As long as these decisions do not directly implicate you in an offensive situation, there is no harm.

I am straight.. I am this way because it is how I am. For me to tell somebody else that they should live the same way, defeats the purpose of being an individual.

Be what you want. It should not matter. I have friends whom are "gay" that have much more of my respect than most others. Goes to show.

In the spirit of productive posts, I'd like to point out how much I can't stand individuals who question the gay community. They say things such as "no one is born that way, it's not natural". Those people are in denial.

All over the animal kingdom the same thing happens every day on a regular basis. Homosexual animals are out there and some even adopt or create only to leave and be with the partner they want (which is kind of dickish, but proves the point nonetheless).

It's mostly religious kooks and for their ignorance I hold them (and religion) in contempt with a refusal to join their ranks.

I say to all the homosexual (say it like a southerner) rock on and tell society to shove it up their nose if they don't like you. Why? Because your life is none of their business and there's no reason to hate something that doesn't affect you. Also, shout out to Jaymes and NoobSaibot5 for being some handsome dudes in the community.

Fuck those downl low guys though. Quit lying to our women, the straight guys who want them are a bit pissed when we hear about these things.

I have to say, I did also get the impression that JR was being a bit discriminatory towards other orientations too, but as weird as it sounds I've actually seen that happen before offline. I know of guys and girls who march at Pride parades and have banners and megaphones for equality marches yet god forbid they ever purposely darken the door of a straight bar. Some of these people would even only exclusively keep gay friends (though perhaps thats something they do subconsciously).

They flat out ignore and ostracise themselves from the straight community yet expect the very same community to embrace them and treat them as equals. It's insane. I mean don't get me wrong, I know there's a few dicks in society but jesus, it aint THAT bad.
