I'd really like you to take over this thread. You seem really passionate about this thread.

Once I get up to round 50, I'll pass the torch down to you. How does that sound?

I didn't anger you did i? I was just suggesting. Im sorry man. But if you want me to. I'd be honored. I just got an idea. How about we run this toghter. You suggest 1 character from either marvel or dc. And vice versa. Then we put em toghter for a round. That way we both have our "1" pick for every round. I wouldn't wanna do this w/o you. Your just as skilled in comic's as i bro. <3

I know I voted for Dr.Fate already so he gets my vote but he's such a badass in the cartoons, he's awesome.

But anyway, question for kingjolly and minion.Kingjolly since you're strickly DC vs. Marvel and not Marvel vs. Marvel or DC vs. DC perhaps I should start a DC vs. DC thread.

I wanted to make a MK vs. SF but that's probably been done like...a million times lol.

When I'm done with this thread you and Minion can sort things out, but note that I am passing the game onto him. I'm not entirely sure what his plans are for this game yet, but he will have full creative control,

Kent Nelson is defiantly awsome. But im going with Stephen Strange. He's the "sorcerer supreme." Which give's him a major thresh hold amongst foes.

Eh, if Dr. Fate crossed over there's every chance there'd be a real struggle for that title.

Strange is great, but tends to have a much harder time of it with more basic threats. Dr. Fate, in most of his incarnations, seems to be a lot broader in what he does, and the ease with which he does it.

Gotta go with Dr. Fate, but it would b a tough one.

Detailed explanation of powers/abilities

Firestorm:

Known Powers: Firestorm had the ability alter the atomic structure of inanimate matter down to the molecular level. He could affect an object’s density and mass as well, reconfiguring it into any shape or design that his imagination could conceive. This power was exclusive to inert material and could not successfully affect living biological mass. Any attempt to molecularly alter the characteristics of a living entity would result in a massive biofeedback of energy.

Because Martin Stein was unconscious during their initial fusion, the essence of Ronnie Raymond became the commanding personality of the Firestorm matrix. During transformation, Stein’s body would discorporate and he would exist solely as a disembodied astral projection. As a being of pure thought, Stein could telepathically communicate with Ronnie, but only during instances wherein they were sharing the Firestorm form. Stein’s mind was cognizant of the astral realm and could perceive, and in turn be perceived, by other astral entities. For example, Martin Stein once battled the evil super-genius, Hector Hammond, on the astral plane.

Both Ronnie Raymond and Martin Stein possessed the singular ability to initiate the transformation into Firestorm, by way of a mental trigger. Ronnie and Martin could prompt the change from remote distances and did not need to be in proximity to one another to form Firestorm. The exact range of with which they could accomplish this has never been measured. As such, either man could in turn reverse the Firestorm effect, separating the two men back into their respective physical forms. Traditionally, Ronnie Raymond had more command over this process, but there have been marked occasions where Martin forced the separation. When separated, the two men were often sensitive to exterior stimuli that would affect the other. For example: If somebody were to punch Ronnie Raymond, Martin Stein might develop a bruise on his chin.

As another lasting side effect of being unconscious during the initial fusion, Martin Stein maintained no memory of the events that transpired while acting as Firestorm. However, he would regain these memories upon each subsequent transformation into Firestorm, as well as the memories he accrued during the times between each transformation.

It was not required of both men to be conscious to prompt the transformation into Firestorm. If Stein was unconscious during the transformation, his astral self would be unavailable to Ronnie. If Ronnie were unconscious during the change, then Professor Stein assumed dominant control over the Firestorm matrix, supplanting Ronnie's intelligence into the astral realm. Although Raymond and Stein did not need to be in each other's presence to prompt the change, they always appeared standing next to each other upon separation.

In addition to molecular reconstruction, Firestorm had the ability to fly, alter his own density and channel atomic energy. He could absorb and project nuclear radiation and emit it as offensive blasts of energy. He seldom utilized this power as a battle tactic however, preferring instead to use his atomic reconstruction powers to vanquish a foe. Unlike his molecular alteration powers, Firestorm’s nuclear blasts could affect living matter without ill effect to Firestorm himself.

As a being comprised completely of atomic particles, Firestorm did not emit harmful radiation into the atmosphere. His body acted as a battery, constantly re-absorbing energy and redistributing throughout his own matrix.

Known Abilities: Martin Stein was an expert in the fields of chemistry and physics. It was through this knowledge, that the Firestorm entity was able to wield his powers so effectively
Strength Level: Ronnie Raymond had the average strength of a man his age and size who engaged in intensive physical exorcise. Martin Stein had the average strength of a man his age and size who engaged in no regular exorcise. As Firestorm, their combined strength level was slightly above normal, but not super-human.

Human Torch:

The Torch's primary power is to envelop himself in, and manipulate fire. He can also manipulate smoke such as to turn into his fiery form. The Human Torch can direct this flame as a blast of superheated plasma, or manipulate it for various shapes, temperatures, or effects. He can absorb flame into his body, or extinguish ambient flame at will. The Torch has the ability to fly in excess of the speed of sound, and has sufficient ambient heat to vaporize projectiles that approach him. The Torch has been observed to vaporize rocks, bottles, bullets, and even steel girders in fractions of a second; yet this ambient heat does not extend beyond his body, or ignite objects in proximity to him. The uppermost level of The Human Torch's power is his "Nova Flame," which is usually released omni-directionally and reaches temperatures of 1,000,000 degrees Celsius. Any level lower than this cannot burn him. This effect can occur spontaneously when he absorbs an excessive amount of heat into his body although he can momentarily suppress the release when necessary with considerable effort. The Human Torch can also direct beams of "Nova Heat" as an offensive weapon for very brief periods of time before his heat energy gives out.

The Torch was once limited by the quantity of oxygen in his environment, and has been extinguished by sufficient quantities of water, flame retardant foam, and vacuum environments. He can re-ignite instantly once oxygen is returned, with no ill effects. His protection from fire doesn't seem to apply to hellfire. Based on the distinct speech bubbles that accompany Human Torch whenever he is in his fire mode, his voice apparently changes whenever he is using his powers.

Detailed explantion of powers/abilities:

Power Girl:

Power Girl exhibits all of the classic Kryptonian powers of Superman: super-strength, flight, super-speed, invulnerability, X-ray vision, heat vision, and super-hearing.

At one point, Power Girl possessed telekinesis.[18] After sustaining severe injuries during her JLE membership, Power Girl retained only a degree of super-strength, super-speed, and enhanced durability. However, she later recovered her ability to fly, and her panoply of superpowers have gradually been restored.

In Infinite Crisis #6 her powers are exactly the same as Kal-L's. When Power Girl and Kara Zor-El (Supergirl) fight briefly in Supergirl #2, it is revealed that they are evenly matched. (Supergirl has strength comparable to that of her cousin Kal-El [Superman], as tested by Batman.)

Although Power Girl has displayed an occasional weakness to kryptonite, Infinite Crisis #3 revealed that the Kryptonite available in the mainstream DCU does not affect Kryptonians from other universes, such as Power Girl, Kal-L, or Superboy-Prime.

Ms Marvel:

Ms. Marvel possesses a wide array of superhuman powers. Initially, they include superhuman strength , endurance, formidable resistance to physical injury, the ability to fly, and a precognitive sense.

As Binary, she can manipulate every form of energy in the electromagnetic spectrum on a cosmic level, has vastly increased strength, and can fly at speeds exceeding light speed. After her link to the white hole from which she drew her powers is severed, she loses the bulk of her cosmic powers, but still retains her energy manipulation powers on a smaller scale. In addition to her original powers of superhuman strength, injury resistance, and flight, Ms. Marvel can absorb and manipulate any kind of energy. She can focus this energy into her others abilities like her photonic powers, explosive blasts of radiant energy, which she fires from her fingertips. These blasts are comparable in power to her fellow Avenger Iron Man's repulsor rays. By focusing her powers outward in all directions, she can surround herself with an energy aura which deflects most attacks. She also has some gravitational powers which allow her to boost her already tremendous strength by absorbing the gravitational forces around her. She also demonstrates the ability to absorb other forms of energy, such as electricity, to further magnify her strength and energy projection. As seen in Avengers (vol. 3) # 41, when augmented by enough energy, she can withstand 92 tons of pressure and strike with a similar level of force. Hank Pym theorized that probably would still not be her limit, although absorbing too much at once or being taken by surprise by an energy-based assault can overwhelm her and cause her physical pain. Absorbing magical energy is also an enigma to her, and Carol remains unsure if she can do so.

On at least one occasion, Binary forces open a Shi'ar Stargate, a feat which only Firestar and hosts of the Phoenix Force can manage.

Originally, in Avengers (vol. 3) #4, Hank McCoy, the Beast, after performing several biological tests, theorizes Ms. Marvel will never be able to access her cosmic-level powers again. However, recent events have proven this to be incorrect. It is shown in New Avengers #17 and #18 that Ms. Marvel still possesses all the abilities she had as Binary, but lacks a suitable power supply to maintain them at that level. When Ms. Marvel battles the sentient energy being The Collective, she is struck by a bolt of its energy, which causes her skin to turn fiery red, a side-effect of her cosmic powers. The flaming energy corona that manifests around her head when she uses them also appears.
