threads should get deleted 1 week after they get locked. It will look less cluttered and take up less memory.

Also...this may just be my opinion, but I think that the staff ranks should be able to receive Dragon and Skull points from higher staff ranks. For example: A Portal Guard can give skull points and dragon points to Shadow Priests. If the Shadow Priest gets too many skull points then the Shadow Priest will become a Flawless Champion ad can never ever go above Flawless Champion. A God can give DPs and Skulls to everyone below him or her and so forth and so on.

No one above Flawless Champion gets their rank by using the rating system, though. We choose people for the position. If they deserve more than the occasional skull point, chances are they're simply going to be let go.





These do need to be implemented. They've existed for years and are very annoying. To add to that, when you edit a message you should be able to go back to it instead of "Return to the forum". I'll just lump this all together in my request document.

Perfect example of how dragonpoints were handed out more generously. I'm not complaing. I'm just observing on what happened before and so forth... Seems like every post you made gave you at least 1 or 2 dragonpoints. With this method I can see why it would take 70 dragonpoints to advance to the next rank. Since we are not doing this method then it should only take 25 dragonpoints to go from mortal to warrior.

I need help and I have tried to contact the mods and gods and all that. My visit counter is NOT working.

For a very long time all it said was 167 and that lasted for almost 3 weeks.

Now it appears to be stuck at 170 and this has been for all of this week. Is it possible to get help with this issue?

Same wit me except I've visited at least 5 times in the last 3 days and I should have 296 visits and its now frozen at 291.

I'm not an admin, so I can't properly answer the visit counter questions... all I can say is that you only receive a visit about every five minutes. That means you have to leave/log out for around that amount of time, come back, and you should have another visit. You have to actually leave the site/idle on a page though.

I appreciate your assistance Crow but its been weeks and I have been here for hours at a time. Not just 5 minutes.

On a forum page, next to where it says how many replies, it should say who has last posted e.g.

I find the lack of respect for me on this site, quite annoying. Sure, we have had MAJOR arguments and such in the PAST, but since being unbanned (thanks crow) I have broken no rules, and supported MKO on many things, I even met the most of guys in LA, I didn't start any shit with them, I told them I wanted to wipe the slate clean and start over, now maybe certain members of that team thought I was bullshiting, but I wasn't. The reason I say this is this:

At E3 2006, MKO,TMK,DMK and TRMK were asked to make a 360 petition, MKO took on the work of scripting it and hosting the bandwidth...Joe did a good job.

Before E3, I sent a friendly message out to DMK,TRMK and MKO with my contact phone number if anyone wanted to met me, only Dave from DMK reply, MKO and TRMK didn't even reply to the message, I think that was a bit disgracfull myself, no matter what is in the past.

However, when I met MKO we seemed to get along fine. I approached DarqueBishop first, because I have always had great respect for him, and he was cool. I am not saying any of the other guys wern't cool, but I belive some of them were being nice to me, just to show face, but deep down were like "fuck that cunt...why is he here", of course this was just a gut feeling I could be totaly wrong on this.

Whats this have to do with MKO, here goes:

I sent an email to Scott Howell and Joe with regards to a request for images (Scott) and questions regarding the petiton (Joe) (which my site is apart of, and generated something like 150 signatures so far) I did not recieve and answer. I asked Darque, why and was told they are quite busy, fine. I pm'd my questions, on MKO to them...agian I was ignored. Now, are you telling me that the staff of MKO can't reply to a email or PM because they are to busy....rubbish. I don't care if you hate my guts, and least reply to me as a show of respect with an answer, I supported MKO with the petiton, and this is the thanks I get?

Of course, I didn't do it for myself, I did it for Midway...but you could at least reply to my questions or comments regarding such matters insteed of ignoring me.

Ingoring my news leads: I have sent nurmous news leads to MKO regarding exclusive interviews with Ed Boon,Tony Goskie,Steve Beran and Shaun Himmerick to MKO, and suggested it would make a good news post (what fan isn't a sucker for an interview with Ed) of course, they did not update about them, when other sites interview these people, MKO updates. When the PS2 premium covers came out, MKO had only 2 of them up, about 1 minute after the 3rd cover I was released, I sent it a news lead to MKO before I even updated my own website, the credit for that article was given to samus_aran (Deception), now maybe he beat me to it...but I am willing to bet more, that they just gave him the credit, over me. Agian, I could be totaly wrong...but I can't ignore my gut.

Oh, and I am not sure how TPB feels about me, but... I have respect for him, but I think people are scared of being banned from here after they have seen what has happend to me and possibly others in the past, I still think most of the bans applied to me, were unfair...but that is in the past... I am behind all that, are you?

Rating system: I know you guys cop alot over this, but I feel mods are more inclined to give regular posters DP's rather than newbies, my reason for this statement is, how many people do you see in the "featured user" section that isn't a regular in MKO...I know what you are going to say "only regular people go up in rank...well what about me, 1700 visits, craploads of posts and I am still a Mortal...I am not trying to make this about me, but I still think It's weird my posts hardly get DP's...

When the petion was being made, I was asked for my site's logo as a PSD (photoshop file) that is something I would NEVER give to anyone, without a good reason, however MKO had a good reason...but recently I found out from Khaos, that Scott Howell sent that image, along with Outworlds to another fansite, for use to make a petiton banner for there website. Now, I am not attacking Scott Howell here, but Khaos and I were not asked if our PSD images could be redistributed, and this is something I stronly disagree with...I like to know everything that goes on with assets related to my website, I am sure Khaos feels the same way.

My feedback: Please answer my PM's and e-mails...geez I know you do for everyone else, maybe the newer posters on MKO should be given some dp's more than experianced users that already have decent ranks...

I reckon MKO needs some kind of sarcasm button, as it is IMPOSSIBLE to display sarcasm on this site.

I believe I was warned for "flaming" in this thread, even with the BLATANT use of sarcasm w1th n00b t3xt li3k th1s.

A lot of other situations too will people think others are being serious, just ruins attempts for jokes and what not.

I don't know what could be used as sarcasm, maybe a funny font just for sarcasm, a special symbol, I don't know, but it would be a nice feature I reckon.

In light of all the whining over at the MKA boards due to Motaro's lack of an ass, the N64 no-purpose Khameleon not being in MKA, and endings which may not even be final, I beg of you and the other mods to consider a filtration system for all the crap on the boards. The MK team is listening to us, and we need to take full advantage of that to get MK where it needs to be. But worthwhile suggestions and accurate data on fan perception of MK is drowned out by whining, crap requests, and trolling.

I think the MK team needs it's own forum. Only the best threads from the MK forums make it there, and the only new threads will report data like infinites, online glitches and such. Of course, the team can post what ideas they want to see from the community. More is in the PM I sent to you, but this is the gist of it.

If not, at least implement a user complaint system to fight the trolls and fanboys. After 10 or so complaints against a user, review him and see if he/she's ban worthy.

The one thing that still bugs me is when you click to see your post, it sends you to the beginning of the first page. I wish it would actually take you to the post.

I think MKO would benefit hugely if this were put in place. It wouldnt eradicate the problem of "repeat posting" entirely, but it would, Im sure, help to reduce it.

Sometimes, i mess up with adding an original message, my post will be highlighted, or spoiler doesn't cover what I'm writing. Your system doesn't allow me to fix these things by copying what i wrote, cuting and trying again.

Is there anyway possible, that this can be fix. Other than that, i don't have any complaints. the systems now work much better than 2003.

I have a great idea. I think the admins and site managers, etc. should purge all the members ranked mortal with less than 1,000 visits and if they want to rejoin MKO then they can. So MKO can free up some memory and reorganize their files/posts, etc.

Is there anyway to fix the quotes so that it doesn't add the [br/] tags. I gets really annoying when people chain quote.
